So this is the first official hip-hop artists' site that I've ever joined but Tech N9Ne has been such an influence of mine for almost 10 years that I had to get hooked up.
I live in Sedalia, MO now but I first heard about Tech back when I lived in Lawrence, Kansas. It wasn't until I moved to Springfield, however, that I really started to listen to him. This may sound too farfetched to believe but the first song that I really listened to a lot was Devil Boy and I was a very fervent Christian at the time but I made a choice to do what he said and give his music a chance. I haven't regretted it a day since.
The biggest thing that I like is that he's one of a rare breed of rappers these days that has depth in his music. It's something that I've always been attracted to not only in hip-hop but music in general. Along with Tech I listen to Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Del the Funky Homosapian, Redman, Busta Rhymes, and Tupac heavy because its unique. You have to really listen and you're rewarded if you do because they all have flows which are thought-provoking and also club-thumpin' (that's a word, right?) at the same time.
And last, but not least, Tech got me hooked on going to the club and ordering Caribou Lou's and Mudslides on the weekends as rewards for busting my ass as a manager at my job all week...and trying to come somewhat close to being able to get down with the ladies. Being somewhat nerdy, I'm still working on that one :P
