Pilates might be as helpful as frequent exercise for lower back pain

They received questionnaires at six, 12 and 24 weeks that pertained to pain and function and general health-related quality of life.
After six weeks both groups demonstrated substantial improvements in pain and disability in contrast with the beginning of the investigation, however the Pilates subjects had a slight advantage over the regular fitness subjects.
