Just got home from the Tech show. Edmonton AB Sept 11 2012

I wondered if the move from the Starlight Room to ECC was a good idea. The last 2 shows at Starlight were great so why mess with a good thing right?

Got to the venue, chugged our drinks, hoodies in the car and hit the spot. HOLD UP Line is like 200 people or something stupid. Why? No crazy lines at Starlight, they know how to move people thru security. Back to car for hoodies and wait. 

Anyway, finally get in and I must admit, place was already packed at 9PM. Couple warm up acts before Madchild. Both decent, my bad for forgetting the names but its late right now! Recognized Krizz Kaliko on the way to go peep some honey. he saw us and gave us the "Shhh" finger to the mouth to not alert the whole crowd. Keeping a secret was cooler than getting to slap hands, besides, I'll do that at he meet and greet tomorrow in Calgary.

Madchild was good. Ive seen Swollen a few times and they always rock the crowd. It was different seeing him without any other MCs or a DJ on stage but he had his signature energy and played a few songs off his new solo record and some Swollen Members classics.

Tech N9ne. What more could I say. Anyone who has seen the live show knows the incredible energy both Tech and Sam pour out every performance.

Awesome assortment of tracks. i dont know all the stuff off the last 2 EPS or some of the pre Strange Tech but thats one of the cool things about Techs shows. Even the most loyal fans may find him doing a song they dont know that well or at all! About a 90 min set.

Great energy in the crowd. Security were trying to play serious a few times which only seemed to rile people up more. Ha ha ha. Some shove-shove here and there but no incidents till the end of the night when some guy got knocked out, right after Tech gave a spech about the Technicians being a family. Oh well, even family members knock each other out sometimes.

Other Notable: As a fan of blondes with big boobs and butts, I was happy for the groupie who got singled out for the 2nd consecutive year. She didnt give the whole crowd a show like last year but does show if you try hard enough you can reach your goals.
