She looked to you for relief

something to take her mind

away from the grief

she was in pain

but she hid it so well

not even her lover,

could ever tell

while the world moved on

hers would play in slow motion

while her mind drove her crazy

with so many emotions

she laughed

she cried

but inside, she would die

even in her sleep

she no longer found peace

it was like living in hell

where the demons would seize

it was a sickness that devoured her

drove her insane

a poison that ran threw her veins

she stared into the darkness

there was no light in her eyes

no hope in her smile

an empty soul,

that went on for miles

the torment had grown too strong

and she knew what she had to do all along

she sat in the window,

put the barrel to her lips

and pulled the trigger........

her body laid lifeless

blood dripped down the glass like rain

and as everyone came home,

still noone noticed her pain

they thought she was silent,

just looking outside,

but never did they notice

the young girl had died

years passed,

the family left,

forgot about the girl

it was like she didnt exist,

never to be missed

she was truly alone,

a victim of her own fate

a corpse in the room,

an abandoned home,

that became her tomb
