To celebrate one of the most successful years of his career, independent rap powerhouse Tech N9ne will hit the road as the headliner of the first ever Strictly Strange 08 Tour. The 40-plus city event features, along with Tech N9ne, the entire Strange Music roster: Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, Prozak, Skatterman & Snug Brim and Grave Plott.

The Strictly Strange 08 Tour kicks off October 3 at the Mesa in Grand Junction, Colorado and concludes November 22 at the Fillmore in Denver. The tour will also hit such major cities as Seattle (October 8), San Francisco (October 14), San Diego (October 20), Los Angeles (October 21), Houston (October 27), New Orleans (October 28), Detroit (November 9), Cleveland (November 10), Cincinnati (November 13) and Oklahoma City (November 18). The complete tour itinerary is listed below.

For Strange Music, which Tech N9ne co-owns, 2008 has been a banner year. When Kutt Calhoun's newest album, Feature Presentation, hits shelves on October 7, it will represent the seventh new release of 2008 for Strange Music. 2008 has already seen the release of Skatterman & Snug Brim's Word On Tha Streets, Tech N9ne's Killer, Prozak's Tales From The Sick, Grave Plott's The Plott Thickens, Krizz Kaliko's Vitiligo and Tech N9ne's The Psychumentary DVD. If that wasn't enough to make people stand up and take notice, the incredibly strong sales of Tech N9ne's Killer has pushed his total units SoundScanned to over 1,000,000.

Tech N9ne Speaks On R.A. The Rugged Man, ‘Holla-Loo-Yuh’, Not Giving A F*ck [VIDEO]

When it comes to emcees other than Tech N9ne that are quick-spitting, hyper-intricate, and actually have something to say, it’s pretty much impossible to leave R.A. The Rugged Man’s name out of that short list, so it comes as no surprise that the hip hop Gods eventually brought the two together. On “Holla Loo Yuh” [...]
