T.Nik's Page

Tyler Nicholas Luker, better known for his stage name, T.Nik, was born in Lake St. Louis, MO August 6th 1992. In 1997 his mother moved him, and his older brother south to Alabama. There he grew up moving from city to city. From the streets of Bay Minette, Atmore, & other local towns around Baldwin County, AL.

T.Nik started writing lyrics at the age of 9, getting better as the years went by. His older brother had an old Casio Keyboard that was given to him by his aunt, which he never used. So Nik started using it. Practicing day after day, he started making melodies that he thought would sound good with his lyrics, & then there it was!

Later down the road he started making beats on FL Studio 7. The Instrumentals he began to create sounded very professional. He bought a track manager & started recording his lyrics acapella. Later the same week Nik thought it would sound cool to record some of his lyrics to a beat he made. After he was done recording he sat back and listened to what he had created. He took his time to make sound like he wanted, and showed it to his family. They were shocked at the sound of the song that the 12 year old had made. So from that point on, his family supported his dream of becoming a Rapper.

At the age of 15, he was kicked out of school for being involved with gang activities. Earlier the same year Nik was put into the Notorious Street Gang, BLOOD. Dropping out of school at the age 16, he started working under the table jobs & watched his younger brother while his mother worked. He started skateboarding. He was arrested multiple times for different charges, such as minor in possession of tobacco, & minor in possession of a firearm before he was even 18 years of age.

Nik's mother moved them back to St. Clair, Missouri in 2008. He continued working on his music as time went by. With no way to Gangbang with his Pirus' he started to turn his life around and work hard on his music. At the age of 17, he found out that his girlfriend was pregnant. At that very moment Nik decided to stop his foolishness & focus on being a father. Three months into the pregnancy they found out that they was having identical twin girls. After their first ultrasound they were told that one of the babies passed away, and later on that evening, the other had passed away as well.

The heartbreak Nik & his family went through was devastating. Not even a full month later, Nik's girlfriend was pregnant again!
Happy but very nervous, they made it through this pregnancy and now have a beautiful baby boy.

Continuing with his music T.Nik released his first mixtape "From Stl To Alabama" on itunes, amazon mp3, napster, emusic, rhapsody, & more online stores on Sept, 22nd. Now at the age of 18, he is a proud Father of 2 boys, his step-son and his beautiful baby boy. With a fanbase of 1000's and a great taste for what people want to listen to, T.Nik is here to stay. T.Nik's Music is now on 750+ radio stations across the US in hopes of making major money from his work before 2013.
