“There’s a place that I don’t often go with ¡MAYDAY!’s music because it’s a group atmosphere and we head towards more widespread themes, but when I’m doing a solo project, I tend to go very autobiographical and the records cross the realm of how personal they get to me. It’s definitely just way closer to the heart in terms of personal topics and things that I can speak on that are affecting me and not just everybody else.

It was nice seeing an artist post on the board! I wish it happened more often. I love an appreciative and humble person. Especially so when people are boasting about'em.
Really our favorite artists are looking at these boards quite often and I think it pertains to some of the success of Strange music. They actually listen to their fans and care. I feel lucky to have, and know that! That's how it should be and who else does it??? Fuckin nobody else.
And if I wasn't a fan of an artist before it's acts like this that speaks volumes and moves me to support and check'em out.

First off lemme just say thanks to Alex for booting up the thread for my project. I've dropped in to these boards from time to time to see what the vibe is regarding the material of my own and my fellow strange artists but i've never actually joined and posted. Figured this thread would be a good one to start on. It's been a personal mission of mine to release a nationally distributed album for as long as I can remember. Waaaay before I joined ¡MAYDAY!. I got to experience a lot of the gratification i'd been seeking with "Take Me To Your Leader". Seeing that album on the shelf in a store is an amazing thing. Especially as seeing that with retailers shrinking their music sections those days feel less and less.
I asked Strange to push my album back slightly because my original release date was a week after Tech's. I didn't want my project to compete with the freaking K.O.D! Ever try to race a cheetah??? not a good idea. At least pushing it back a few weeks felt like the right thing to do considering. 6/4 is not a big gap but at least it's something. I been working with some really dope producers and i'm chasing some really dope features for the project. I'm doing my best to make it sound like what you guys have come to enjoy from my previous material and also to make sure the album doesn't sound like a mayday project without Bernz.
I truly hope you enjoy it and I just wanted to come up on here and say me and all the brothers in ¡MAYDAY! appreciate the feedback both positive and negative, and we appreciate the love y'all show us on here. I'm a fan of everything strange puts out so thanks for always keeping the board littered with the current info. Sometimes i find new shit out about my own projects here....hahaha.....
Anyway once again....

Yeah I said Trinidad James because Willpower did a studio session with him.
But tbh Gold on my MacBook was dope and The All Gold remixes are dope. He just another Lil B,Gucci Man ect he has good production so it is what t is. As far as being a fan of Trinidad as a rapper..not really.

No but seriously he just did a Pink Flame mixtape and the production is incredible. But he's so terrible I can't listen to any of it..Hearing Lil B on that beautiful production is like watchin a guy kick a baby.
