he's not really ruining our country. he became president of an already ruined country and gave us.... a little tighting of a screw so we have a but more time till we collapse :P

McCain's policies are shit. I liked Obama better than McCain because Obama's policies appealed to me.
McCain thinks homeless people shouldn't even vote. He doesn't understand the mechanics of the economy. He wanted to stay in Iraq, knowing full well the costs of it, so he can get his rich corporate friends more money.
I can go on and on, but i'm justing saying this:
Republicans are a party consisting of MANY sellouts. they don't care about policy. They just want money from big industries and are full of crap. wake up to THAT.
and no i don't support Obama. I support REAL progressives

Honestly... im not a fan of any politician.
But its hard to put the failure of our country on one persons shoulders.

Our government is no longer in charge of the banking systems, one guy owns and manages the gold & money in the states. So those cash for gold scams are bullshit incase anyone missed that.

Im only 20 but seriously all i notice now is how damn expensive everything is, sure inflation would only be natural but its gotten hella crazy

Our military has dropped huge amounts of cash into researching new warfare technologies. And guess what, after developing, creating and producing unmanned aircraft that have never even been used and have specs off the charts we put them aside and dump more dough into building something bigger and better. I just dont see how any of this is so necessary.
Financially, society has fucked itself. Morally.... there are no words.

all of this is my opinion obviously but i find it hard to vote for anyone because no matter what they say theyll do, realistically it hard to believe

because people are calling him a communist. people are saying 'yep, he won coz he's black' and other simplistic nonsense. and i'm on the far left? maybe i'm far left in the spectrum in Washington, but my opinions aren't far left in the U.S population.
Majority of people don't support Iraqi and Afghan wars
Majority of people wanted a public option for healthcare
I can give u articles about Republicans cashing in corporate money. i'm not going to bitch about policies if u really believe them, even if i disagree. i'm going to bitch about politicians that make the decisions that shape our country and follow double-standards and corruption.
and if u REALLY believe Fox News is news, then i can't change ur opinion. because honestly, i only watch that bs as entertainment, not for information. but hey if u want to watch these clowns like Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, O'Reilly and the whole crew, it's ur own intelligence ur putting down the shitter.

I knew Obama being president wasnt gonna change anything. Voting is just a waste of time!!! Until we have a canidate whos comitted to helping people instead of making a quick buck, we will continue to go down the same road.

Dennis Kucinich ran. i would have voted, but i was 16 then =/ and i guess he lost his chance in the debate when the ass hole mediator broght up the time when Kucinich said he saw a UFO (which i have no problem with, but people will think he's insane or some shit).
and ya, Obama is better than McCain, so i'll vote for the guy who won't fuck up stuff even more.
Ya McCain knew more about military, but as a politician he doesn't care about the war, there are incentives to continue the war.
and ya i agree the war is affecting our country majorly. it made our debt increase by billions, if not trillions, and we caused the deaths of probably over a million people, injuring more and leaving shit behind that causes mutations on children.
Not to mention the U.S lives lost.
i dunno how u see the wars but those are some of my thoughts on it
