yes but if we let Republicans win, then we r pretty much LETTING them do away with it. Democrats aren't fighting (a few exceptions of course), but seeing as Social Secuirty has been at risk for decades, there might be some hope for it to survive (i'm being hopeful.... smh)

i dont think any president will be able to fix our problems strictly cuz all the presidet does is just leave the shit for the next guy. Ron Paul is probably the most honest Repub i can think of, but there might be some i don't know of
Democrats.... they need balls. i don't believe what most of them say. they talk shit when elections are coming (not this midterm election tho...) and during the terms they don't fight. if they actually fought for their positions, then i might have some hope in them. and really... all DEMOCRATS ftw? i'm not a democrat, fuck that. i'm a progressive, because i believe most of the positions of a real progressive are what we need. i'll vote for whoever is an actual progressive. i doubt i'll be a republican (a progressive repub? do those exist?), and democrats are closer to progressive idealogy, so it'll have to be a dem vote for me in the end. i seriously have no problem bashing demos, like i did with Obama, but of course according to some people i'm still a dick sucker of them
