Permalink Reply by matt meyer on March 15, 2011 at 5:38pm You don't sound crazy, I fucking love Craig Smith...I've got all his albums...if you go to his website, IamCraigSmith.com, you can download all his music for free!!! He's as good lyrically as anyone on Strange, just doesn't get the attention he deserves. SPREAD THE WORD!
Tyler Turner said:Thanks for the get well Kentucky Boi. And I agree, Krizz is a badass. If Tech didn't have Krizz, he'd probally not have that many good hooks on his songs. I love Krizz because he can rap, sing, and keep your attention all at once. Kutt has improved lyrically, and I love BLH's cannibalistic ways ;). Cog and Prozak are epic aswell, as I love what they talk about haha. Jay Rock is one of my Freshmen picks for this year, dudes got skills. I know i'm probally gonna sound crazy, but I'd love to hear some more from Craig Smith. I like his voice and his flow.
Well, spread the word...Mista Smith is a bad motherfucker!

Permalink Reply by ₡₱♛ on March 17, 2011 at 12:47pm No doubt about it Skatterman and Snug Brim. First of all, because they go so hard on Riot Maker it's not even funny. On top of that, their album Word on Tha Streets, is the best album imo out of all the strange artists behind tech. I don't think any of the other artists solo albums beat it. Kutt is right behind with feature presentation we all love bunk rock bitch. As for Kaliko, like everyone said it's all about the hooks when it comes to him. I'm not gonna lie I wasn't too into shock treatment although some of his older solo's like genius and stuff were pretty dope. But ya skatterman and snug brim all the way go listen to word on tha streets if you haven't in a while its sick every song.

Permalink Reply by Zach Flatow on March 17, 2011 at 3:33pm Sorry had to post it.. Look at the way Tech introduces them and then they even say which one it is as they go. They are dope! Wish they were still on STRANGE!
I'm a skyscraper..
That's why everybody in my past is trynna to get a little piece of my paper
Man I swear, the Nina will never love them, plug them
when I'm rolling with Skatterman and Snug Brim!
[Skatterman]
It's Skatterman, cat, Strange Music's black sheep. (Why?)
Cause I'm still counting money off the back streets
Every city, every show, I got to pack heat
This ain't no fucking rap song, check my rap sheet
I'm one of a kind, turn one into nine
Blow your head of your shoulders, dog, it's nothing but time
And I never raise my voice. You a bum, why should I holler on you?
With a whisper I can drop a couple dollars on you
Sss..sss... sick them rottweilers on you
Killers busting out the windows of Impalas on you
A made man in the streets, I made grands
Wrote lyrics about my life, dropped an album, and made fans
Now I'm chilling on tour with the redhead wonder
Did 57 shows in a three month summer
On the deuce bitch ass nigga fucking with Tech
gonna be found in Swope Park with his nuts in his neck
[Snug Brim]
Like you ain't know, we put it down like this
Snug Brim, Kansas City, Missouri, uzi, groupies, doobies, fifths
You Suzie Q's ain't no excuse for the sick
So watch your tongue, if you’re whooping
I’ll get to shootin’ over you and your bitch
You just assume you tried the shoes, and they fit
You never knew that I lose you off in the section with your dude in the ditch
Whether it's rapping dog, or moving them bricks
I keep it gutter little homie, look my records, see I'm doing it thick
As you can tell I ain't no regular nigga... I'm filled with star quality
Blow indo with bitches thats naked... and watch your broad swallow me
It’s only so long you can fake it.. so don't try ta follow me
And still can't get back up on your feet... found right back where you ought to be
I see you frowning cause Strange Music got it locked boy
Invest yo stock boy, Kansas City hot boy
It's really fuck a hata, smoke some weed, get your paper
You can see me now or later, motherfucking Riot Maker.

Permalink Reply by Tyler Turner on March 17, 2011 at 7:58pm I've got to admit, I've never really listened to any Skatterman and Snug Brim's shit that didn't feature Tech or wasn't on a Tech album. I shall do that though. I liked their verses in Riotmaker, especially this line:
Every city every show I gotta pack heat
This ain't no fuckin rap song check out my rap sheet
I've personally always thought Skatterman was the better of the Duo though. Also, I need to check out some Big Scoob. I'm really anxious for the Kabosh album, that shit went hard on the Strange Library bonus disc. I loved it, no homo. I'm gonna get Craig's albums tonight, gotta download 7-Zip though lol
