So how do you know their isn't any errors in the bible that you do read. It's all good having those as a foundation, but when you look at how people have used religion for their own benefits, it's difficult to trust. E.g. The only reason divorce is allowed from a Christian standpoint, is because a fat fuck for a King didn't want to kill his wife, but wanted a new one. Doesn't sound too Christian to me.
