When Tech finally decides to walk away from rapping, who do you think will be the face of Strange Music? Imo i think it will be Krizz.

i surprised by these replies.

to me the clear unanimous 2nd place on strange music goes to mayday.

and with kutt kali and blh's ages, i would think most people wouldn't see them as the next in line.

i guess i can hear you out if you say stevie stone, but i just don't think he is THAT talented, to be the face of strange music.

i think Ces Cru is too one dimensional. they are great at what they do, but not versatile enough.

prozak is just a no.

Jay Rock will inevadably leave strange and be 100% TDE.

MAYDAY is just soooo multi-talented. Wrekonize is the second best rapper on strange behind tech, and the second best singer behind kali. Plex Luthor is an AMAZING producer. they can do literally ANY kind of hip-hop, and do it great. they have songs that can appeal to any fanbase..... they are the clear cut answer to this question.

Krizz: yeah he's gonna be near Tech's age, so he might hold the reigns temporarily, but it'll be brief as fuck, but I feel like he can reach out to the different crowds of music fans

Kutt: We don't know how old he is, do we? He seems like he's in his mid 30s, but I guess I might be wrong. He'll still have a strong force within Strange as an artist, but not the head just because people don't seem to be feelin' him as much as Kali or Tech, and doesn't have the same talent that Mayday has

Mayday: I have to agree they seem most likely. They have a lot of versatility and are still fairly young, and have made names for themselves prior to Strange. Wreck is clearly 1 of the best emcees other than Tech, if not directly behind him. Not to mention their production quality is crazy. I think I've gotten more people into Mayday than Tech tbh

Prozak:. No. As much as I think he's dope as fuck, he's way too polarizing for Strange supporters to be the main face. This site is a perfect example of that

Scoob: lol no. He's probably around Tech's age, and considering his health he'll retire before Tech does imo

Jay Rock: Due to his connections with TDE, he'll probably be more known for that part of his career rather than Strange, and as people said before, Strange fans don't seem to be into his more West Coast G type shit, which I personally think he does really well.

Ces Cru: Too new to tell. They seem dope, but we;ll have to see how Strange fans see them at shows and with their albums

Stevie Stone: He seems like an appealing artist, but he lacks the ability to reach out to different hip hop fans the way Tech appeals to the hip hop heads, the juggalos, etc. Again, he can probably be like Kutt and be a notable artist who'll be in the label for a while, but no way at the head.

So yeah, Mayday wins it

nobody hopefully.

mayday muthfucka!!!!

Now this does seem logical but I always thought Kali was younger than Tech and same with Kutty

they are, but not by much.

This is pretty much the truth...I'd like to add that by that time Tech's son Dantez might be a liable candidate, as well the fact he's thinking about going to Full Sail, I wouldn't be surprised if he learns the business

Blizzum said:

Krizz is only 2 years younger then Tech so i doubt Krizz will stick around much longer after Tech walks away. Considering Tech says he will do this til he physically cant anymore...

Did I miss something?

I hope he raps until he dies.. Maybe he wont be touring as much, but why would he ever stepp down from something he built and that's never been done before? I don't see Strange fading away like No Limit,Death Row, Ruthless, everybody else did.

And even if that's the case nobody could ever fill Tech's shoes. Lynch could as far as rapping IMO but i've never seen an artist in any genre of music have the drive that Tech posses.
