Although I think Ab-Soul is the best of the nominees he isn't really a freshman cuz he has two lps out (same with Schoolboy) and therefore I voted for Rittz. I would also like to see Dizzy Wright make it too.

Dizzy Wright accomplished a lot in 2012 (i.e. his own solo tour, an album, a mixtape, and an EP).  

Rittz got signed by Strange Music and was a big part of the SLUMERICAN TOUR (I think he has only two mixtapes, I'm not sure if he released anything in 2012)

...although when it comes to MY choice, I would choose who's music I like to most, therefore I've gotta choose.....Ab-Soul

this is why i didn't wanna pick ab-soul or schoolboy q. For me it was between Dee-1 and Rittz but i decided to go with Rittz because i feel like he's on the verge of reaching a much wide audience which is kind of what i feel like a freshamn should be
