Naw man, Tech bought a track from me and I signed it off and everything and Tech recorded it like 3 months ago, so I just figured it was on K.O.D. cuz that was the upcoming release but I recently found out it's for a whole different release.

So, you said you did some beats for KOD, but I didn't see your name on the list.

Did you do like F.U.N or Like I died or something?
SAY DID HE SAY STONE AND LYNCH WILL BE ON THAT SONG
Yea I just called COG. He said Stevie Stone is on it, Kutt Calhoun is on it, and most likely Lynch is gunna be on it. Only reason Lynch wouldn't be on it is that he's already done a few tracks on Cog's album so we'll see. I want Lynch on that song though so We're gunna push for it I think.

Yo Mr. Machete you think you could give us some examples of your previous work or at least lead us in the right direction... im curious the shit you did for nickatina...
www.myspace.com/freddymachete got some of my Nickatina/Mac Dre shit on there. Also got a song I did with Nickatina and San Quinn on there. If you are familiar with Dre's work i've been on Horns and Haloes 2, Horns and Haloes 3, Booty Star, the Wrath of Khan, and A Tale of 2 Andres as far as Nickatina albums go.

I like the chill flow...subject matter is cool too. Spend money to get in a good studio and get your shit mixed and mastered, it makes a world of difference. Also remember adlibs and back up vocals are key..

i appreciate that! who knows maybe one day i'll be on one of ur beats! im back and forth about this music thang..everyone tellin me i got it.. i believe i got something some talent. the success of it all i think scares me. plus im 27 now i feel im startin too late..but idk but thanks!
Keep doin it mane. 27 too old? Fuck no. A majority of the rappers and singers I work with are 35+....When you got talent and you like what you're doing keep doin it and find ways to profit off of it. Selling records is like legal dope, especially when it comes to mp3's and ring tones. Brand yourself, market yourself, believe in yourself. If you can make rap your job it will pay off because if you love your job it will naturally make you work harder at it and it won't even feel like work. Talent is the foundation, hustle and networking turns the talent into money. Establish yourself, get some bigger type features maybe, release the songs online as singles and ringtones through a digital distributer, let your checks come in every month. Create a buzz around your name through the internet and like I said maybe some good features. Then you can start selling your verses as a side hustle in between working on your own projects.
If you love doing it and know ya got talent go hard on it ya dig? It will pay off, it just doesn't come easy.
