What makes a good rapper to you?
I'm sure it's a combination of things, but what makes you dig someone's sound more than another's? Speed, content, flow, beats, visual presentation (believe me, that last one makes or breaks more artists than you think), etc? Seeing that this forum is very opinionated, I thought we'd get in to what makes someone dope/garbage instead of who is/isn't.

uhhh where they from.. i tend to fuck with dudes from a city that dont have a ton of rappers.. they have to be good but ill give a dude from iowa or washington a chance over a dude from atlanta or houston..

The ability to ignore negativity, their originality, their style and speed, not someone who conformes and goes mainstream for money. They do it for the love of music and fans.
