1995- I stayed on 56th and Highland... Before Mitch bade and Cloudy Eyed dropped... heard him in person on the porch of the home studio they had on the block. He was beatin on his chest and spit the sickest verse I ever heard in my life- This nigga been the best for a long time.
i was at my house when a friend came by and had me listen to T9X...after creaming my pants i was hooked! we blazed up all night and listened to the album for hours...crazy that my first T9X was the actual song T9X
what an amazing T9X! wish i could have experienced it with you...im sure most of us Strange Soldiers would die for such an experience

My booyfriend let me hear Slither and I was a fan since...so it's been almost 2 years.... so ashamed I never heard of him b4 then.
yee, my story's similar.
i think the first tech song i heard was either That Box or Here Comes Tecca Nina. and we were makin' the fuck out. lol.

lol now my bf hates how much i love his music. i can't help it that i like strange things!!! lol!!! besides if it weren't for tech who else would i listen too. turning on the radio is so depressing. every song consists of some unintelligent rapper practicing spelling his name on a hard beat. so sad.

My friend downloaded "I'ma Playa" on my computer and put it on a mix for me n thats the first time i heard tech, first time i heard of tech was my friend from vegas kept mentioning him
Im a fan of Roger Troutman so when I saw that he was featured on Anghelic I bought it and heard This Ring ,been a fan since.
i think this the only dude who got me beat.. uhh it was like 97 maybe 98.. my older sisters friends who were in high schhool at the time i was in like 1st grade.. she took me someplace wit them and he was playin him in his car.. just some freestyle flows.. it was like 13 years ago i really cant remember.. i just remember askin my sisters friends who this was and they said "TECH N9NE".. back then i really didnt listen to alot of music cause i was like 7 or 8 but i liked the way he said words and how he put them together.. (im from kcmo by the way) and when i heard him again on the wake up show wit the anthem i started listenin to him more and more and now he's always in rotation..
