just wait god damn 4 days left tomorrow.

It's definitely different but it's pretty good, blur was by far the worst song, D.K.N.Y. is probably my favorite. I'm not gonna say anything else because I don't wanna ruin it for anyone.

i mostly agree. its not tech's best lyrical ep but it sounds dope. i just hope this isnt like the direction his music is heading. dont get me wrong i really like it and ive only listened to it once. as far as the bold goes, he's talking about his ex wife i believe. so its relevant at first i too was like, huh? but then understood what he was talkin about

I actually don't know how I feel about it, it's different of course, but idk.... the lyrics don't do it for me at all, some of the flows either sound forced or are just too quirky for me to get in to. It'll have to grow on me. I'm not saying it sucks becuz I don't think it does, but I also don't think it's good when my favorite party of the EP is the vibe it gives out instead of the actual content, especially from a Tech release. With that said, Blur has grown on me since it's release and I do like Ugly Duckling for the most part, same with Klusterfuk but I don't think ANY song is a completely solid track (i.e. Tech rhyming "Ya'll" like 10 times in the Klusterfuk intro, voice effects on Krizz Kaliko's verse on DKNY, Tech's part in the hook on Can't Stand Me "These are the people who can't stand me, ya mama, ya daddy, ya greezy ass granny" seriously Tech? lol), so it's a little bit of a disappointment at the moment, it's just not something I'd write home about like a lot of other releases, I'm not gonna run to my friends 'n be like "Yo, check this shit out". The production is spot on though, Mayday definitely lived up to their part. And did anyone else find it "awkward" when Tech told that story in the 3rd verse of Awkward 'n didn't find it funny at all? I was just like "uhh... ok then...." I just expected so much more, especially since I thought the concepts had so much potential.

ohh and inb4 I get flamed for being a "hater."

It's so tempting isn't it? I'mma wait tho

yeah, I guess a huge factor is he had to do everything in 4 days, so I won't hold it against him too much, but I wouldn't have minded waiting an extra month for better lyrics personally

Overall it wasn't bad. His lyrics are just not there. It seems rushed, (yes I know it was done n 4 days). I like how he's exploring with different beats, vibes and flows. I've only listened to it once and I'll be honest in some parts I have no damn clue what he's saying or talking about. It seems like he's so concentrated on his flow and rhyme scheme that his lyrics are just a blunder and don't make sense. i don't know why nobody likes Blur. I think it's the best track. He does a great job of painting a picture with the lyrics. I enjoyed "KLUSTERFUK" a lot. When I listened to the snippets I was like I can't stand the Mayday production. Then I listened and they are real talented.

maybe he did it so you would feel awkward haha. but @Charles yea he doesn't need to rush his projects. a few more weeks wouldn't be much to wait.

He's not rhyming yall. He rhymes the second last word of each line. 71st, birth, earth, worst, verse, thirst, shirt, nerf(ball)
