I think KMK are still good but nothin beats their old shit like High Society and Rollin Stoned. I heard the new album a few days ago that comes out today and it's a straight album but I think D Loc doesn't rap the same and Richter is still flowin like always. Daddy X and DJ Bobby are still throwin down. I always like KMK, but they need to come out with their old school shit on their next album next year which comes out on 4/20 2010 they were sayin.
Still into em. May pick up Hidden Stash 4:20 today (if not later in the week). MIGHT see them with 311 next month, dunno if I wanna skip classes or not (rarely miss KMK shows though).

Far as their stuff sounding the same, eh chalk it up as them having their "style." you pretty much know how the hip-hop stuff sounds, there's the kinda-punk rock songs that still manage to include d-loc and richter rapping during break downs, and of course the earthy acoustic sounding shit. Yea they tend to go through the motions nowadays but you either like it or your dont.
personally i never ever liked them, when they tour with tech if they go on first, i dont even watch im outside, if they go on after tech then i leave after techs set. dont see wut he sees in them, or even likes but i think they suck ass, never liked any of there shit, at the meet and greet i didt even go up 2 them, and couldnt even tell them from the crowd..lol..there wack as fuck!
D-Loc...first album, which is a classic, almost everybody was about Saint Dog. Second album, shit changed and D-Loc stepped his rap game up. Last few years though, dude fell off big time. He's like the Prodigy (from Mobb Deep) of KMK. There are several verses out there where he so half assed it. I'm talkin lazy ass call-and-response chants in the middle of a 16 bar verse. Only half way decent "lyricist" in that group is Richter.

To b honest, i neva thought much of "KMK" at all...i mean to me, i think dey only hav 2 good songs, nd those songs are "City to City" nd "Everbody Move"...das jux my opinion tho...so gyea! lol
I think High Society or Rollin Stoned are in the top ten best cds ever made
look at the liner notes... cause you obviously have no idea what you are talking about..

"Produced by Daddy X and Kumagai for High Frequency Productions"

My girlfriend is hella in to KmK. She dragged me to the concert here in Boise back in July. I didn't really wanna go, cause I was never in to em, but after the show I had respect for em. The only song I actually really really like is Stoner Bitch. Cause it reminds me of my girl friend. Lol. But, one part of the show that made me laugh was when Richter did the chorus to Snoop Doggs Gin and Juice...hardly any one in the room knew the song, and I kept goin with it and he jus like looked at me and laughed a little bit like...hey thanks for doin what I was wantin everyone else to do.
