A cypher or cipher is pretty much anything that happens in a circle. In a blunt cypher, you stand in a circle and pass the blunt around in a specific order. Rap cypher refers to a group of people freestyling together one after another. It also goes with breakdancing, people stand around and take turns dancing. I could have sworn this comes from the 5 percenters who would stand in circles together discussing important matters.
