I personally think so because i think it had a lot more heart put into the lyrics. I felt like a lot of songs had the heart of the old Tech. What do you guys think?

Permalink Reply by Dukecityspecialist on November 14, 2011 at 1:28am Definitely agree. For some reason I couldn't get into 6s7s. Techs rhymes/multis seemed forced. I have not been able to get wtsl out of me player since I got it . Replay value is off the chain. Definitely enjoying this album which seems like a solo album more than 67. Beautiful fuckin job

This takes nothing away from WTSL, as it is by far my favorite Collabos album to ever become an addition to Tech's catalogue. The way I see it, A6A7 just offered a much better overall product marking a legendary release within Tech's career. A6A7 produced numerous long awaited collaborations for me such as Hopsin, B.o.B., Busta Rhymes, Yelawolf, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, and Deftones. Including all of the bonus material there are 25 songs total on A6A7, not counting the skits, whereas WTSL only contains 19 songs. I'm always in support of quality over quantity but that argument really wouldn't have any relevance in this case because each song on A6A7 was a solid work of art. I can see why some people may prefer WTSL's "sound" to A6A7's in general but instrumentals simply don't overshadow lyrical content and concept delivery in my book.

Permalink Reply by Greg on November 14, 2011 at 1:49pm Out of the 19 songs on wtsl there were no skits. and 6s and 7s there were about 5 skits which means about 20 actual songs... WTSL had way better features there were no parts to skip over...
No annoying hooks like boogie man...
I fucken hated that high pitch dude, killed the song

6s&7s was way to commercial for me. techs part in fuck food was sick wayne okay tpain gay (trying to get my dick sucked through my jeans??) gay snoops part was most disapointing (it took me a minute just to write this) ya i can tell...the songs i liked best were the ones that could have been on wtsl (strangeland, delusional, love me tomorrow, and promisland).
I really like WTSL. I like how it has the strange music artists because that is who i listen to. everyone sayin they are getting sick of krizz on hooks is whack thats like saying you wanna hear wutang without gza...
anyway WTSL>6/7s MLK is still my fav callabo but WTSL is a very close second
