My rebuttal would be that, Em is an emcee, a good emcee who didn't get famous from doing bullshit music, but because he brought something new to the table, he was controversial and very lyrical. It was different to hear a white dude spit as good as Em could. Lil' Wayne on the other hand isn't the worst emcee, but definitely is a bullshit emcee. The radio is polluted with garbage music, 90% sounds like Wayne or has Wayne's retarded ass on it.

and i don't like Wayne either, but i don't get pissed at an artist for collabing wih people i don't like

the point aint if anyone likes the other rapper or not i hear ppl duun like sum his other collabs but i dun blow up like this. its the ppl sayin theyll stop fuckin listenin to him or say hes fuckin sellin out fuck that yo the colaab wit em an the collab wit wayne is jus as big as the other. . . tech has dun its his way all this time an still doin it his way i fuckin support that shit. an like he said the mainstream is comin to strange he didn call wayne, wayne wanted tech there for mainstream is gettin strange! why knock him for the mainstream respect an like him or hate him (wayne) this is huge for not just tech but strange. . .

How is my excuse that I don't like Wayne? I was giving insight as to why a lot of people are cool with Em and Tech collaborating and not Tech and Wayne. A lot of people who like Tech are into complex lyrics, they like the fact that what they hear from Tech not everyone can do. Wayne is the typical Hip Pop garbage, Tech shouldn't have to do a song with him in order for exposure, Tech's skill should speak for itself, do you think that the people who hear of Tech N9ne because of this collabo are going to like him because he is a great emcee? No they are going to dig it because Wayne put his seal of approval on it, the fans Tech is going to gain are the same idiots that go crazy for songs like Lolipop and that Flinstone shit, they give a fuck less about the lyrics or the rappers message, they like it because of the beat and because its what's popping in the clubs.

1. You are saying people don't like him because he sucks, which is all opinion based.
2. Tech isn't collabing Wayne for exposure, apparently after how many months u haven't figured out who approached who.
3. Who cares if people become fans because of the Wayne collab and NOT care about him? Tech still gets to expand. Sure i'm going to get annoyed if that's the case, but i'm not going to go against Tech and call him a sellout, say he fell off, and all that other negative bs

I think a lot of Tech N9ne fans have a deeper appreciation for music. Wayne, in a lot a people's eyes on here is the embodiment of someone who doesn't care about the music, he's there to collect a check. Talib Kweli caught the same kind of heat for collabing with Gucci Mane, it's like a slap in the face. I don't think not one person on here has a problem with Tech making it big, it just shouldn't be because of a collaboration with an artist a lot of people see as the reason for music being so bad right now.

Tech is smart and humble, if he was a hater of the mainstream artists he would pretty much burn all his bridges on the quest to get big. I dont blame him on any moves he makes. I mean think about hes been payin dues way too fuckin long. Hes had to sit back and watch all these rappers that are new to the game instantly blow up to the place he should be. If i was him id be like fuck half of ya'll, ur not in his shoes. But thats why ive been lettin everyone around me know that im a tech fan, because like pongo said hes gonna bring in a whole new crowd that think he just came out and like his music for some wrong reasons
