Recently they put out this list. The top Hip Hop artist, is Jay-Z...and he falls at 47. Justin Timberlake beat out Tupac and Outkast...and the Beatles are number 1. It makes me wonder who did this list, cause I don't know how much they know about music for them to put people where they did.

lol seriously. rap is a fairly new genre compared to rock, pop, etc. and there are many many many more "legends" in rock than there are in any other genre. so this list looks solid to me

Some of you act like rap is the only great genre of music ever created... some of you are just retarded lol

I disagree a little... but overall this list looks pretty decent

Then again I'm not a music expert... and neither are any of you

tool's is like tech in the rock world, one of the best and have  huge following but completely underrated.

For the most part I like this list. Definitely agreed with number one.

Yea this list sucks im shocked how low Eminem and Tupac are and how high Jay-Z is cuz thats bullshit.

why is Jimi Hendrix so high?? i realize people loved him but he was popular for like 2 years then died...

other than that list looks solid, obviously the top 25 or ever the top 50 can be moved around randomly and still be solid

This list is way off

Samuel L. Jackson says GTFO.

I honeslty have never heard of bob dillan. and I cant see how MJ isnt number 1

icp and kmk are groups not classified as one artist so hes right

wrong sir

ICP as of april 2007 has sold over 6.5 million and still counting
KMK has also sold 1 million

wen you think about it tho. isnt he the only independent artist to ever sell 1 million albums? lol im pretty sure everyone would be fuckin shocked that he made this list but it makes perfect sense that he could have been considered.

This list sucks. No Tech, wtf.

No it doesn't suprise me but I really think he should of made it on the list but then again we listen to him and he's not mainstream.

Overall I like the listing, Jimi Hendrix is wayyyy too high up though imo. I never understood the hype for him, some of my friends like him and one of my friends is a huge fan, I don't know, I can respect his talent, I don't think he's not talented, but #6 of all time? and Outkast should've been higher than NWA imo. But, in the end, I enjoy the vast majority of that list, can't complain

Well then your opinion is VOID, you can't say who should be #1 if you have never even heard of Bob Dylan, you are probably like 14 years old and know nothing of music as a whole
