Venue Changes
I'm fucking pissed off right now. The Hostile Takeover Tour was set to come threw St. Louis at a decent venue called The Pageant. Tech hasn't played here since Fire and Ice. Its a nice, comfortable venue. I was extremely happy to hear this is where he would be at once again. BUT NOPE. I just seen that the venue has changed to a shitty hole in the wall called Pops Nightclub. This place is ratchet as fuck! And there is no way it will hold all the mainstream homos that WaterGun Kelly will bring in. Anyone else have their venue changed? I wish I could call whoever books these shows and give them a piece of my mind right now.

I know it's not always an option, but if you're driving 7 hours, might as well drive the 8 it takes to get to KC and just hit a hometown show next time. Far better than Sauget, IL.

No, I don't. Because Tech's booking agents are lazy as fuck. I've talked to Tech about this exact problem and he said he agrees with me 100%, so does Kaliko and Prozak. None of those guys like coming to Pops. But Pops is easier to get a booking and cheaper than the Pageant. You fucking idiot. Think before you type.

Really wish they would switch venues down here in albuquerque too. after 10 fuckin years its still the same place. I think imma sit this one out any way. Ill wait till the kutt concert. Not really feeling that mgk shit

Im happy hes hitting four cities in IL this tour. Well one Davenport IA ( which is right across the river) the one ill be goin too. But as for the complaining about sauget,IL at least hes playin near you. Thats 3 hrs from me, and both chi-town and Bloomington are like 2 1/2 . Be happy you dont have to drive a far ass distance.

The tour was supposed to come directly into Pittsburgh at a brand new facility but it was switched to over an hour away to a fuckin hockey arena.

I'll be driving to Sacramento (by choice) to see the show twice (which is about a 2 1/2 hour drive) and the Sacramento venue is nice.

I would hardly call them lazy, which is a blanket statement on your part, based on what? What Tech and the guys have said about playing the venue? They may not like going to Pop's, but that doesn't mean the bookers don't know any better. They do what is necessary and feasible.
Guess what, if it really was a huge problem to them, it would have been solved by now.
