Personally I think this is great news. Twiztid is the only act on the label who I thought had any real talent.

I think Twiztid did great on Krizz Kaliko's "Wannabe" and Prozak's "Line in the Middle". I think a lot of times they're just held back by the other less-talented "rappers" on Psychopathic. As with a lot of rappers, they seem to really shine on their guest appearances with Strange Music artists.

I think Psychopathic's future is going to be very troubling for them now that they lost Boondox and twiztid in the same year. All they have on their main label is Insane Clown Posse, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and Anybody Killa. Of course, Juggalos will continue to worship everything they put out but losing two acts this fast when they have hardly any others is a bad sign.

Hopefully now we will see them on some more Strange Music tracks and no more embarrassing songs with Psychopathic artists. I just listened to the new Prozak track with them on Nocturnal and liked it.

I wonder what their reason for leaving is? Can't wait to hear the details.

Yeah and Esham sold 100's of thousands back in the day but nobody cares, it's all about what you've done lately in the music business...... That's alright tho, I won't argue about things I know I'm right about........But watch what happens, either there gonna sign with an established label or you won't be able to buy Twizted music anywhere but the internet........

They could get distribution. And their overall catalog has sold a lot more than kaliko so that comparison irrelevent. Theres plenty of artist with less star power that has distribution

in a thread fulla trolls theres Strange Admin........Twiztid wouldnt fit in either label i mean Seven produced pretty much the whole abominationz album and it didnt seem "strange"to me so yeah probably going to do there own thing that sounds like the most reasonable thing to do

No one ever considers that they will find their own distro and do their own thing.  I wish them all the luck in the world.

For the people who say or think, "Prozak is the weakest emcee on Strange" you are wrong. Prozak is the 2nd highest emcee on Strange that sells the most units. You may not like Prozak or Twiztid but you have to show respect where it's due!

they both kinda suck, neither of them should be on strange or on strange features.

I thought they blew ass on the stuff with Kaliko, don't listen to lolprozak

They were pretty good on the stuff I mentioned with Kali and Prozak... but I honestly think there's a better chance of them signing with Subnoize than Strange.

I think they will probably sign with Strange or Subnoize. Also, there's a rumor I saw on facebook that Anybody Killa is also leaving Psychopathic which just leaves Blaze and ICP on their main line-up.

ok 1st thing damn you i wanted to post this discussion first but whateva lol 2nd thing i wanna know whats going on and why they left psychopathic 3rd will they make Black Majik Records happen like they said they wanted to in 2003 if not will they go with one of the major indie labels like Strange Music or Suburban Noize I Think That they would fit on both labels like seriously and their was a pic of Strange HQ on their twitter a couple weeks back so maybe just maybe they might be on strange either way i will love and support twiztid

How 'bout... no.

Yes but Twiztid has a pretty loyal fan-base and now that they're able to break away from all that face paint & wicked clown shit with J and Dope, they should be able to show their true colors (In other words, they don't have to rap about swingin' a hatchet and bein' a serial killa all the time.)(even though that's hardly ICP's style anymore either, well... sort of but it wasn't dark and badass like The Amazing Jeckel Bros. Assassins was a sick song and Echo Side really showed their dark side.

Starting your own label isn't easy and I don't know how much luck Twiztid would have finding distribution when there last album only sold 20K copies..........Krizz Kaliko sold 20K copies of his last one, do you think he's a big enough star to walk into Fontana and be like "Yo, I'm starting a new company, give me a distribution deal".......... Not gonna happen, there better off signing with a label that's established........ If they don't, there gonna wind up one of these groups who can't get there albums in stores and have to sell everything strictly digital, like Esham for example........

That actually probably is the most likely scenario.

I agree, all people know Twiztid by is with the Psychopathic Records influence, if they ditch all that bullshit but not the horrorcore style completely i think they would fit right in at Strange.

honestly the hook IMHO was the worst part of that entire album. I did enjoy the verses. And I liked their contribution to Wannabe, except the fact that the last verse was off in a Drake-can't-catch-the-beat-when-fast kinda way.

matt meyer said:

You're telling me that people think twiztid actually did well on krizz kaliko's album?

Wannabe would probably be my favorite song on the album if they didn't ruin the last verse. They nearly ruined the whole song. I'm not speaking in terms of it was just flat out terrible by any standards, maybe it is better then a lot of their other verses, but the verse on that song was still 1000 levels bellow the 2 or 3 kaliko verses that came before it.

I won't go into dixie cup that much, because i didn't like anything in that song besides the chorus.

To some it up, just because their verses on kaliko's album were good by psychopathic standards, they were still hot garbage by strange music standards.

Exactly with 187 (being a fan of his Above The Law material especially Uncle Sam's Curse it's a shame they are giving him any props) it's just the fact they have no respect whether it's Dayton Family or Cold 187 it's just the fact  in my opinion many psychopathic fans have never liked the black acts (just my opinion)

Robert sanchez said:

That's for the best, nobody took Bootlegg and them serious over there. Same with Cold 187um from Above the Law, ICP fans hate that guy. If you don't waer face paint at Psychopathic the fans don't want you there. Esham fathered the whole style and still didnt get acceptance.

TECHN9CIANofABQ said:

Apparently Violent J dropped The Dayton Family or basically forced them out after gettin butthurt about something as "boycotting" their album? Damn that dude fucks up so much it's like a joke.
