Personally I think this is great news. Twiztid is the only act on the label who I thought had any real talent.
I think Twiztid did great on Krizz Kaliko's "Wannabe" and Prozak's "Line in the Middle". I think a lot of times they're just held back by the other less-talented "rappers" on Psychopathic. As with a lot of rappers, they seem to really shine on their guest appearances with Strange Music artists.
I think Psychopathic's future is going to be very troubling for them now that they lost Boondox and twiztid in the same year. All they have on their main label is Insane Clown Posse, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and Anybody Killa. Of course, Juggalos will continue to worship everything they put out but losing two acts this fast when they have hardly any others is a bad sign.
Hopefully now we will see them on some more Strange Music tracks and no more embarrassing songs with Psychopathic artists. I just listened to the new Prozak track with them on Nocturnal and liked it.
I wonder what their reason for leaving is? Can't wait to hear the details.

a tie a said:Monoxide's verse was dope as hell on Wannabe. Madrox was just ok. When it comes to Madrox, his voice is probably the only thing that keeps him from having a more fans, though his lyrics can be off as well, as they were in Wannabe.
Prozak is the weakest emcee on Strange? Lyric for lyric Prozak has MUCH more substance and diverse subject matter than Stevie Stone, and dare I say even Kutt, even to an extent Kaliko (that is to say when it comes to being an emcee, overall musical talent Krizz has unleveled versatility, but I know someone like Cole is going to come up, bold that statement, and laugh his ass off). As for the rest of Strange's current roster, a some of them haven't even put their full albums out yet ie Ces Cru, Rittz, or haven't put out shit in a quite some time ie Jay Rock, Lynch (who's album will make-or-break people's opinion of his as far as his Strange career is concerned). I'm sorry people have an issue with the dude's voice, since that's most of what I've seen from the criticism of him, but his lyricism is much better than most of Strange.
Going back to Twiztid, people are pretty polarized about them. I'm a fan of their music for quite some time, and I think Abominationz was their best album to date, which Seven had a huge hand in on the production side. I think them being signed to Strange would be a good move so it can lock in the juggalo fanbase that's being ass holes about Tech 'selling out' and all that bullshit, as well as helping Twiztid get more exposed to a more mainstream-like fanbase. I'd be in favor of it personally, but I'm not surprised a lot of people here aren't. That said, Tech N9ne and Twiztid touring would be dope as hell
matt meyer said:are you honestly trying to say that Twiztid's verse on wannabe was anywhere even remotely close to krizz kaliko's verses? it was a no contest.
the only 2 artist from strange that twiztid could MAYBE compete with are big scoob and prozak. and 9/10 people would agree that scoob and prozak are the two weakest emcees on strange right now.
I'm not even trying to be a hater or anything, but to even hint at the idea that twiztid is at the level of strange music artists, and for some people to say that strange might sign them? even to strange lane? .... It's laughable.
With the level of talent strange music has on their roster right now, they should never consider signing twiztid.

Permalink Reply by Ice Cold on December 13, 2012 at 7:34am Theyre good but I dont think theyre great. Too much of that Psychopathic influence in their music. Hopefully they will try to move away from that now. Pretty interested in how their music will evolve.

Permalink Reply by Robert sanchez on December 13, 2012 at 1:52pm Starting your own label isn't easy and I don't know how much luck Twiztid would have finding distribution when there last album only sold 20K copies..........Krizz Kaliko sold 20K copies of his last one, do you think he's a big enough star to walk into Fontana and be like "Yo, I'm starting a new company, give me a distribution deal".......... Not gonna happen, there better off signing with a label that's established........ If they don't, there gonna wind up one of these groups who can't get there albums in stores and have to sell everything strictly digital, like Esham for example........
