twista?? wuuuhhhh?

dats koo

I got much respect 4 Twista. Really I think he's the most underated rapper of all time.

And yeah Mainstream is buyin up all the best. Yelawolf. Crooked I. Mystikal. Busta. Twista...

And i think Tech started the whole trend by signing Brotha Lynch. And Mainstream went Tech.

Finally a rapper who came along, blew up and wasn't threatned by other real talent being on his label knowing what he had to do to sell records in the day of free music.

Not to long til Rittz gets a deal i'm sure.

Fuckin sterotypes

What difference does it make? As long as he has creative control, it should sound the same. Plus, it's probably just a distribution deal for Twista and his GMG artists.

That said, Cash Money has been a nightmare for Chicago artists and he'd be better off with GOOD Music or Def Jam directly.

But, Twista is not great. Even with more promo and large dist., I think he's already peaked. Adrenaline Rush will be too hard for him to top, he didn't blow up when Ye did following "Slow Jams", and speed isn't as impressive as it once was. Outside of AR and Slow Jams, I can't think of a dope Twista line.

And just for fun, Cash Money is just trying to cash in while they can (Death Row, Bad Boy, No Limit, G-unit etc.) like all the others. They are bloated and it's mostly bullshit. Not a "mainstream hater" by any stretch (I'll even listen to pop), but I do hate that the art form is dying.

Wayne- Even fans have to admit the Carter II (must have) was his peak. C3 (must listen) was decent. C4 was skippable, except for the one track. Won't even mention his "rock album". His quality of verses have fallen off hard. Even his onslaught of mixtapes pre-prison had some gems on them. For quality sake Weezy, get back on that lean.

Drake- More a singer than a rapper. Some decent verses here and there, but I dismiss any rapper that doesn't write his own shit. So he's not a rapper by at least two standards.

Nicki- Get used to her. By far the most talented on CM. She sets the bar super high for any incoming females (btw, what the fuck was TI thinking? His signed chick is already dead in the water).

The rest- Tyga? Only know Rack City. Busta is a legend, but I think he is past his prime too. Been awhile since he put out a worthy solo project. He might better preserve his legacy by doing guest spots along with Twista. Mystical has been gone for so long, I'm curious as to what it comes out like, so there is some interest. But 3 fast rappers that haven't had an impressive album between them for quite awhile, seems off somehow.

So in the end, it doesn't matter what label he puts his label out on, it's all going to sound the same, just different features.

i might get hated for this on here but i dont give a shit young money has alot of talent and now that busta and twista are on the label.  it means alot of fast rap willinfect the mainstream love wayne or hate him he does have a respect for real music.   i wish ppl would stop hatin on here music is supposed to connect ppl and what not ik im gonna get alot of fuck yous and all that but i voice my opinion and i dont give a shit.   yes im a big tech fan and im into underground music too  soo dont say somthin like another mainstram fan who dont know shit lol
