before i post.. i dont like top 5 list there very hard to do and i often wonder why some people pick some ppl.. for fun i put who and why, and also went to 10... i tried to do include ever reason.. (and tech is my fave rapper.. he jus doesnt make my top 5 for stupid reasons)

1) Jay-Z (living legend)
2) The Notorious B.I.G. (before his death he had only 1 cd out, about to drop his 2nd. both cd's are classics)
3) 2pac (had the all around image of what a gangsta rapper should be)
4) Eminem (1 of the best selling hip hop artist off all time, hes lyrical but still has that commercial appeal)
5) Rakim (The God MC)
6) Kool G Rap (brought the mafioso style to hip hop)
7) Nas
8) Tech N9ne - (Can do many styles, rhyme over different types of beats, is lyrical, but lacks commercial appeal)
9) Wu-Tang Clan members (GZA, Inspecta Deck, Ghostface, & Raekwon) the best MC's (talent wise) of the wu-tang clan changed the whole style of hip-hop back in the early 90's
10) Canibus (the rawest MC's of all time.. i dont think anybody could mess with him on the mic, sometimes he's to complexed for the average person to understand)

honorable mentions....
1)Big L
2) Big Pun
3) Bone Thugs N Harmony members (bizzy & krazy)
4)Chuck D (public enemy)
5) Big Daddy Kane
6) LL Cool J
in talent or just personal choice?

Tech N9ne Speaks On R.A. The Rugged Man, ‘Holla-Loo-Yuh’, Not Giving A F*ck [VIDEO]

When it comes to emcees other than Tech N9ne that are quick-spitting, hyper-intricate, and actually have something to say, it’s pretty much impossible to leave R.A.
