E-40, Glasses Malone, Jay Rock not inlcuding TECH himself and the rest of the strange crew.. Were lucky were not paying 100 dollars a ticket like some of these mainstream fucks.

Permalink Reply by AnDy Capitator on August 30, 2010 at 7:51am I think it has to do with the promoters, and with that, 1) how much they paid for the show and/or 2) how well Tech tix usually sell in that market. I dunno...if tix are in the 20s, that's cool, though service fees sometimes boost it into the 30s. But, if you're talking about ORIGINAL ticket prices being in the 30s, I'm not feeling that. And well known (enough) names, Ok. But these aren't "big" or "huge" names. E-40 has his fan base, but he's not that big anymore really. He'll bring some folks out tho. Jay Rock is up and coming, his name's out there. Glasses, it is what it is. But bottom line, when tix start getting near or into 40s, that's not cheap, especially in these times.
