Ill still pay whatever to get in and see a tech show, but damn, tickets this year are $36 plus a $4 fee, and im takin my girl so thats $80, wtfs goin on...last year it was like $30 plus fees, every year it goes up, is this on Strange music or the venue ? imma be like a damn old man how they talk bout how shit use to be back in the day because i remember a damn ticket being $20-$25 total just a few years back. shiiiiiiiiiit.
Not really a big deal. Hes got alotta bigger name artists on tour with him. E-40, Glasses Malone, Jay Rock not inlcuding TECH himself and the rest of the strange crew.. Were lucky were not paying 100 dollars a ticket like some of these mainstream fucks.
its the venue/strange. to me its not alot tho when u think of some artist.. movie tickets use to be $5 now its like $10 lol for 3d movies or $15. its how things work fam
its $100 for my show cause im going vip.. and i always bring someone.. once i brung 5 other ppl vip...so there went alot of money lol ....ah....i need to stop doing that tho...
I think it has to do with the promoters, and with that, 1) how much they paid for the show and/or 2) how well Tech tix usually sell in that market. I dunno...if tix are in the 20s, that's cool, though service fees sometimes boost it into the 30s. But, if you're talking about ORIGINAL ticket prices being in the 30s, I'm not feeling that. And well known (enough) names, Ok. But these aren't "big" or "huge" names. E-40 has his fan base, but he's not that big anymore really. He'll bring some folks out tho. Jay Rock is up and coming, his name's out there. Glasses, it is what it is. But bottom line, when tix start getting near or into 40s, that's not cheap, especially in these times.
