This is probly one of the best albums I've ever heard.

best Strange release easily. and yes that includes Tech releases.

It's alright, but I didn't really enjoy the way the album was mixed, if it had a more 'raw' approach to it rather than the more 'poppish' style of mixing (I have nothing against that by the way) then I would have found it more enjoyable.

It hasn't moved from my car CD player and I've listened to it all the way through probably 20 times.  Still not tired of it, so that tells me its really fucking good.

Its an excellent album, probably the best non-Tech Strange release. But I've noticed some people seem to be overrating it a bit just because ¡Mayday! actually play instruments. Idk I guess that doesn't impress me as much since rock is my favorite genre, and I'm used to bands who actually make their own music.

I agree with this. People seem to jump on the bandwagon saying that "!Mayday! are so diverse and they play their own instruments, most talented musicians ever!!". Yeah they're average, but they're not on The Roots level of playing instruments, hell I don't even find them to be that great on their instruments, plus they always seems to make use of the guitar generally as "background noise" while a synth is made to be more "powerful" in the mix, while kinda ruins the whole point of playing your own music anyways.

Nonetheless, I can speak more negatively of them, but at least they are musicians who can actually say they make their own music unlike the trend where rappers are just too lazy to bother to learn how to play an instrument, or how to even use a computer to create a beat using midi instruments, so they just buy the beat off someone else, that isn't musicianship, that is just rapping, they are just rappers, not musicians.

the fact they play their instruments hasn't even occurred to me lmao. they just did everything really well imo. the production was great. Lyricism was on point. The delivery and versatility of flow and Wreck's singing was amazing. No wasted features. Creative concepts and a lot of substance. This is 1 of the very few albums I can say that I've enjoyed every track on.
