Thoughts on KOD from a Tech N9ne fan who has been listenin to him for 7 years....
So I first wanna say that Tech is my favorite musician out of all the music I listen to. I am not much of a rap fan anymore, becuase I realized that most rap is talkin about how much money you have, how many bitches you have, going to the club, doing a stupid dance or how many guns you have. But Tech n9ne has never been any of this. He is truly a LYRICAL GENIUS when it comes to making music.
Would most of you agree that after Killer and Sickology, Tech has been at his best as far as success goes? So why did he have to change his style so much?
This album consisted mostly of songs about eating people, killing, fighting in the club, and God.
I have been a HUGE Tech N9ne fan for 7 years, and this is the first time that I have listened to his music and been TRULY DISAPOINTED.
There are some of us in this forum who truly listen to the things Tech says in his raps. I mean, songs like "This Ring", Trapped in a Psychos Body, The Rain, The Industry is Punks, Cursed, Questions, That Owl, In My Head, Celcius, Blow Away, In The Air, Red Nose etc.....These are songs that I believe make Tech N9ne special because he speaks the truth.
Do you really want to bump a song that talks about eating people? There may be some hardcore people on here like that, but I just dont listen to the beat, I listen to the lyrics. It seemed like I was listenin to Brotha Lynch's CD. I just dont understand why he changed his style? I mean, he always has a song or two on each album that might be a lil crazy, but almost every song was like that.
And as many of you can tell, there have actually been a lot of negative posts about his new album, and it hasnt even officially dropped yet. Up until now, I have never seen so many negative comments about Tech's music on this forum. I'm just sayin, I think he is going to lose some fans' interest on this one.
In closing, I wanna say that I will still continue to listen to Tech N9ne, but this CD will not be played by me. I still support him but as a HUGE fan, I am truly disapointed in this particular CD.

Thats fine if its popular with the juggalos. But like I said, I am on here for Tech N9ne. I'm down for that Tech N9ne sound that we all know. And this album was lacking that Tech N9ne sound. Like you said, it had more of a Juggalos sound.

Man, i've been into tech since late 07, i was into his old shit hardcore, mlk as far as bass lines and his verses was pretty good, 7/10, killer was better man, couple songs sucked but for the most part it owned 8.5/10 sickology ehh, probably one of my least favorites, theres a few songs on there though that i will never forget n i'll keep bumpn those specific ones only, 5/10

Dwamn. you jus gotta listen to it thru n thru a few times, get what he's sayn, i mean, it's not about the beats man, it's not about the bass, it's about what he's talking about man. he's talkin bout real life man, real fkn feelins and that's what makes this album lefuckinggit yknow? i loved it dawg. some songs jus yknow i totally could relate and that's why i like it so much. tech's real and you can hear it in his voice man. shits balln.

I dunno homie I've been bumping tech since gangrelated and if you think really changed that much sit down and really listen to the content of tcbts,the worst, and celcius(skull chips dipped in ranch dressing) from what I've heard he didn't change anything up he just basically took a lot of other facets of his personality and left them out of the album and did what he said he was gonna do "imma do it one way" I.e. dark

ok here we go. if you really knew me you would know im GIRL CRAZY. remember? so when you here me talkin bout eating people, in hunterish and pinocchiho im talkin bout EATING PUSSY DUMB ASSES! women. i eat WOMEN i really eat WOMEN they really delicious! its just like slither at the end it gets theatrical but the story pinocchiho describes me as a person longing to be normal and trying hard to be with one woman. i didnt see the resemblance till after i wrote it and it thru me for a loop that the character i created in the song is me. WEIRD! enjoy more now.

if you knew how many crips ive came across tryin to turn them on to my music and how much they cuzz me then say i dont fuck with that devil shit, you would know where i got the inspiration to do in the trunk. all these stories are real you guys just listen to my life as usual but this time its just all darkness instead of just one section thats the only difference. sorry you think i changed my style cause this has been me for awile just TURNED UP! I really have wanted to throw some muh fuckas in the trunk who hate so hard with the devil shit and colors shit that i had to write the song to keep from doing it. enjoy me
