That's one of Tech's best qualities I think. You can see the emotion in his music videos and hear the emotion in his voice. I think that's rare in hip-hop.

when i first heard this song, i was like...damn this is deep. it shows tech's dedication to the troops/his fans. he spreads his message across seas in a positive ways. the video was great tho. in my opinion, i think kaliko should have played a role in the song. he went with tech to visit the troops so i think he shoulda been part of the work. i LOVED maydays production on the song and wrek's and bernz's lyrics and voice. straight up perfect. the part about kaliko is my only negative opinion. satisfied with the video

To me personally...the stripped-down/simplicity of this video only adds to the realness...and by doing so just adds to the overall emotion of the song. It was a great video, and I actually appreciate how it was done. I do have my own issues with the video, but none of them have to do with how the video was done.
