So ummmm I hope everyone on this site by now has K.O.D.album. Hopefully u bought it. For those that bought is ur a Technician for real and for those who downloaded it ..... ur a fraud... Anyways bacc on subject. I can listen to every song on that cd. Its a slapper .... hands down. The song Horns is a good song. Tech kills it and Prozac came just as hard as he did on Peek-A-Boo wit Kaliko but King Gordy kinda tripped me out. I understand being atheist or just not having faith... but DAMN!!!!!! Yeah Show me a God could I GUESS be taken as "bad" but his lyrics are more searching for answers and displaying his doubts. Hey if Jesus can do it so can he... but this mu fucca Gordy went off saying the craziest and probably most controversial 16 I've heard...... well ever. So i guess my question is is there a line that shouldn't be crossed when it comes to music, religion and free speech?

I love the beat and stuff from Horns... but strictly because of the way Gordy talks on the track... I REFUSE to listen to it. He's an idiot.
I disagree, just because of what a man says on a record doesn't mean that is how he actually feels, look at eminem for a prime example I mean he talked about cutting his ex wife's new boyfriends' son's throat(the song is "Kim" from the Marshall Mathers LP, and on that album, even on the un-edited version, they edited it out. However on a mixtape he released the real version where it says "there's a 4 year old boy layin dead with a slit throat in your living room, haha you think I'm kiddin you?"....I understand if you're religious and Gordy's lyrics offend you but I think thats what Gordy was going for, to offend you. If you want get a hold of me and I can send you a version of the song with out Gordy's verse on it

FUCK GORDY!
That's just Gordy's style. I mean, there are religous nutjobs that think people at nature preserves practice witchcraft, among other crap, but no1 gives a damn. But when someone targets Christian related subjects it's a big deal. I guess i'm just saying there is a huge double standard here. Coz honestly, Muslims have been demonized greatly but that's never addressed (except in music by Immortal Technique, and that's about it). But it's not that big of a deal, coz Gordy takes stabs and every group of just about anything lol. I guess he just did this verse for this song in particular coz it's probably his most notable appearance on any song he's done (minus D12, but that's questionable), so he becomes a more... memorable(?) feature on the album

Hell yeah dude. Im spritual myself, and I think it's funny. If you look at any religion Christianity, Satanism, Taoism, Buddhism or w/e they are all so similiar. They are all just a set of beliefs to help people help themselves. It doesnt matter what you believe in, or if someone doesnt believe in it. It is all personal opinions, and it really shouldnt cause a problem. People have to be more open minded. I personally don't believe in God, but even if I did why should that verse offend me? A lot of tech songs raise questions about God and shed a different light on religion. It is not to diss or look down on them, but it really just brings up a different light. Christians take that as an insult immediately when it really isn't personal. Gordy did a good job, a little offensive, but a great perspective. Look at Anghellic. The whole ablum is about his torments in this world and trying to remain good, but everyone criticized it as being evil.

if you think gordy crossed the line with that verse... perhaps you should listen to his other music.. cause it destroys the line... and if your too scared to listen to it.. then thats your fault.. cause hes a incredible rapper.
music is just music...i personally think king gordy is a pretty talented dude. he does say some off the wall shit, but he is just making his living and doin his own thing.
I like King Gordy a lot but that line in horns did kind of trip me out a little bit. I think all of his albums are fucking awesome especially his last release King of Horrorcore 2. He said that is new album XerXes is the best album he has ever done.I am really fucking pump for that shit cause i think KOH2 was straight fire all the way through. I think this year is going to be one of the best years for Horrorcore in a long fucking time
