Because people like the Jokerr genuinely believe their status as some of the best artists out. That type of ego is destructive to not only themselves, but to the game as a whole. When everybody has that egotistical bullshit it will cause more good than bad that hip hop should be providing. if it's entertainment value like the diss contest the Jokerr is doing, then it's cool. But when there is real tension because people act as if everyone is musically below them, then it's just going to cause damage.

so in the 'era' that hip hop was healthy there wasn't any egotistical bullshit? lol its part of the game, can people not see that the Jokerr calling Tech out is out of actual respect, he and his fans obviously hold Tech in high regard to be singling him out, there is no real tension involved in this, u guys look way too much into this

Sounds to me like this dude is just butt-hurt cause he wasnt respected enough by Tech to be on World Wide Choppers with all this pinnacle bullshit. I listen to alot of Tech and the only song that the word pinnacle really stands out to me is on WWC. I looked up this Jokerr dude, dont know him for shit, but it look like he tryin to rap like a chopper. This is a dumbass thing to do Imo.
