I've always thought The Jokerr was a pretty huge cock-smooch to be honest. Not just due to the fact he's had his problems with Tech N9ne or Hopsin but the majority of the reason is due to his persona and content. I'm sorry, maybe it's just me, but I really can't take a man seriously that doesn't go anywhere without an obnoxious jester hat that makes him appear as the douche king along with eye shadow and full World Of Warcraft costume. I'm really not into any emcee that's based solely upon a gimmick, although I do support creative expressions of art. Yeah, there is definitely a difference. For instance, take Brotha Lynch Hung as an example. Do I truly believe that he's rampaging around California raping infants and gutting victims for intestines? Although he is a bit off his rocker I'd still stand firm on my view of absolutely not lol. Is that the full extent of Brotha Lynch Hung's lyrical content however? If you look back to each LP he's produced since his breakthrough in the early 90's he's touched on plenty of topics that relate to his real everyday life and past experiences. Look at his persona/charisma, he's not garbed from head to toe as a grizzly murderer every day of his life aside from an album promo which it would relate to here or there. In other words he still remains true to himself while displaying his art form to us, which is important to me. I enjoy his darker material as well and can actually take it for what it is, a gruesome metaphor of his thoughts and emotions. Yet even with that style incorporated he maintains an equal balance within his material. On the other hand, The Jokerr can't even arrive to a business meeting let alone host a USTREAM without fully assembling his 40 year old virgin ensemble as if it empowers him lol. I'll give him credit for his production skills and technical format of rhyme pattern/cadence, but the utter display of douchebaggery that consistently runs rampant in his lyrics absolutely kills any creditability that may have given him. I really don't care who you are or how many syllables you're able to flip within a 24 bar segment if you're lyrics are conveying a message about dragons, dungeons, mythical creatures, impalers, wizards, and a full list of other ridiculous homo shit that doesn't pertain to reality in the least bit. The only reason I even had the displeasure of hearing dude's music was through this forum as well as Funk Volume's contest and what do you know? He turns around and spits in the face of both outlets that even gained him his tiny bit of publicity in the first place. Long story short... WHACK!!!
It's insanely stupid how people will not listen to another rapper because they dissed their favorite one. Theres just so much dick riding, and butt hurting on this site. Jokerr didn't really have problems with Hopsin he just had problems with Dame. Lets face it, Dame has been doing some stupid moves lately on Funk Volume's part.

Permalink Reply by Greg on April 18, 2012 at 6:13pm ur all takin it seriously... Dont u see that rappers when they diss each other its just for show??
I bet tech n9ne helped em make this shit, either that or hes fine with it.
ever since 2pac and biggie it seems like every rapper has to have a beef with someone.
Exactly, if you're going to critique or even trash an artist at least give the courtesy to everyone of doing it properly with reason. Too many people just hop on the "this shit is dope" or "fuck that shit" bandwagons without ever explaining what they enjoyed or didn't about an artist or their material. I completely agree with you on that one. If you don't have the time or longing to read the post then just skim it or skip past it. What can I say lol?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
