Well I started a forum a little bit ago, and it should be a few below this titled something like: icp sucks, "em and tech are the best". I'm just asking for a little help, because a few people seem to think that tech n9ne is, in fact, NOT the #1 independent rapper in the world. I thought he was. Am I wrong?? I sure hope not

TVT was considered an independent label since they did their own distributing. Kings of Crunk was a number 1 independent release on Billboard for a number of weeks. No clue how the hell that label went under, they had a lot of great artists signed at one point. Guess they outspent themselves on promotion and advances to their artists. Damn shame.

lil jon and the eastside boyz were first signed to mirror image records, and then TVT records. Maybe if you owned an album of theirs, you could look at the back and see the label name

lil jon and the east side boyz are indie and are multi platinum.... so sorry
i know what labels they were signed to and i know that tvt is/was indie at the time of Put your hood up (gold), Kings of crunk (2x platinum), and Crunk juice (2x platinum). i didnt just put that to put i actually looked it up instead of posting bullshit

By #1 Independant Rapper in the world, they mean that at some point he was at the top of the indy charts, actually several times, and that currently he is pulling in a higher net income from touring then any other independant rapper in the world, and even many mainstream artists including Kanye West, Eminem, and even Jay Z.
so number one touring independent rapper, cuz pretty sure jay z "net'd" alot more the the n9na,
bet tech "nnutt'd" more then jay z thou lol

go do something your good at, because it is not this.
when you think about it tech demolishes em idk if its just me but tech goes hardcore in all his shit n not very many of his songs are below fully sick, but em on the other hand has got heaps of good shit butt he also has heaps of absolute shit and whacked out songs. tech needs to advertise more in other countries to make himself known. i live in australia n only heard about him less than a year ago. but now am hooked hes my fav rapper by a long shot . he should be labeled king of rap he dominates everyone.

HELL NO! He IS the number 1 independent rapper in the world! I love this mans music! He is so much realer than any other rapper out there.
