Well I started a forum a little bit ago, and it should be a few below this titled something like: icp sucks, "em and tech are the best". I'm just asking for a little help, because a few people seem to think that tech n9ne is, in fact, NOT the #1 independent rapper in the world. I thought he was. Am I wrong?? I sure hope not

i dont have time to read through all the arguing so im not sure if this was mentioned but mac miller was the first independent artist, whether rock/rap/pop/whatever, since the doggpound in the early 90's to hit number one on the billboard charts.  that doesnt make him the #1 independent rapper but it is definitely worth mentioning, being that tech n9ne still has yet to do this

Scuba Diver...I believe he is the best emcee alive and greatest emcee of all time...that's just me...dude ignore the dumb shit...there alot of 2bit uneducated trolls on TRTN...they dont want to disagree without being disagreeable so let them just embarrass the shit out them selves...Ive gotten told by a couple of 2bit idiots on here before that Im dick riding because I don't believe their is such a thing as terrible Tech N9ne release...its alot of cry baby bullshit if you ask me...I get where your coming from

Thread bumping for self promotion? Times must be hard.

I would say that the #1 could be credited to a number of characteristics.  Obviously, record sales hold heavy weight, but what about the sales that dont get tracked?  Tech N9ne is probably number one in my opinion, because of the demand for him in various markets across the country. Not every artist can do that.  However, google "Independent Rapper" and look at who is ranked #1...Some guy called Peppaboy Trill McCoy from Pensacola FL, Colacoast Entertainment...Buccoup love to all Independent Artists that are putting in serious work.

Tech N9ne Speaks On R.A. The Rugged Man, ‘Holla-Loo-Yuh’, Not Giving A F*ck [VIDEO]

When it comes to emcees other than Tech N9ne that are quick-spitting, hyper-intricate, and actually have something to say, it’s pretty much impossible to leave R.A.
