platinum huh??..i think ur trippin. I think it will out sell K.O.D, shit maybe even double it. But that only puts him at like 300,000 sold

Yeah, Eminem sells a lot of records, but he hasn't gone platinum in a week in a long time.

Not happening. Let's face it, Tech's averages under 50,000 in his first week of release. Just because he has a bunch of names all over his album does not mean he's going platinum. Just because we know about Busta and Wayne being on this album doesn't mean that anywhere near a majority of those artists' fans know about it, or care. Wayne fans are used to Wayne on everybody's shit.

The last few people to go platinum in a week were Wayne and Taylor Swift. Maybe Eminem, I don't really remember. I know Relapse only sold something like 6 or 700,000 in the first week. Now, this "breakthrough" album may bring a lot of mainstream attention to Tech which will hopefully lead to platinum status over a period of time. But this album is not going platinum in it's first week, or even in it's first month. I love Strange Music and I think Tech deserves to go double diamond before the album even makes it to the record store, but I don't see him going platinum with this album, not for some time.

It rarely happens anymore, across ever genre. The industry is failing, why do you think they want to change platinum to 500,000 sales instead of a million?

I feel the same way Green Blood...man I been thinkin' like what people don't realize is that he wants his props and music to be known/heard  EVERYWHERE!!!  man I would feel the same if it was me, after all theses yrs, and these suckas on the radio will never cease....its like a make or break album...but not in my mind...TECH you've done songs man that have went to the the heart, and mimiced so much of my deepest secrets, and life...its uncanny, I just happen to be  a woman It might not be in the physical manifestation, but mentally...YESSS.....but its beyond real..I love u/him for that regardless...someone asked me what would be 2 songs  from anyone, that would be who I am ...at the present time or theme....Tech's: LAST WORDS, & Janis Joplin's: TURTLE BLUES...there it is....He's made that ultimate SACRIFICE....he needs to be rewarded, by all!!!

Ok, first of all Flicktion is a dumbass we all know that.  If you don't think it will go at least gold, then maybe you should get off your asses and stop downloading illegal music and go buy the fucking album.  All you guys that say it's not gonna do well that is why, i'm sure you all sit there with your limewire or your winrar and mediafire files.  Honestly look at how many people like Tech on facebook or Em.  Almost a mil for tech 30 mil for eminem and em is still having trouble going multi plat which is a joke.  If over 800,000 people like Tech on facebook, you'd think all those fuckers would go buy the album, especially this newest edition.  But i doubt they will.
