Tech to go platinum with 6's and 7's

Come on dude......im all about being optimistic....but going Platinum? Hell, even going Gold is a big stretch. All 6s and 7s definitely has a chance to be his highest selling album, but come on. Lets keep it in the realm of reason. If he sells more than 50,000 the first week, ill be ecstatic. I feel like way too many people are getting carried away by this album from the features. It's still a Tech N9ne album, which means its still being marketed to by Strange Music to Tech N9ne fans. Which, unfortunately, there are not enough. This album could definitely set him up for a shit ton of future success, though.

we all want that Tech goes platinum wit this one but,back to the reality of this music industry...he won't but i'm pretty sure that it'll be his best album sells wit 6's & 7's

and maybe eminem????? come on man you know em sells more records than anyone in the rap game......so if wayne did it then you know em did it....and hell do it again with his next cd and cd after and so on

Just because we know about Busta and Wayne being on this album doesn't mean that anywhere near a majority of those artists' fans know about it, or care. The last few people to go platinum in a week were Wayne and Taylor Swift. Maybe Eminem, I don't really remember. I know Relapse only sold something like 6 or 700,000 in the first week. Now, this "breakthrough" album may bring a lot of mainstream attention to Tech which will hopefully lead to platinum status over a period of time. But this album is not going platinum in it's first week, or even in it's first month. I love Strange Music and I think Tech deserves to go double diamond before the album even makes it to the record store, but I don't see him going platinum with this album, not for some time.

It rarely happens anymore, across ever genre. The industry is failing, why do you think they want to change platinum to 500,000 sales instead of a million?

lol, and by the way ICP has sold 10 million, Tech aint the first independant artist to collectively sell 1 mil

Someone actually get Tech on Kimmel or Fallon, for example. Bottom line: Gold isn't completely out of the realm for this album, but some really not usual shit is gonna have to happen for this one joint alone to sell 500k.

i hope your right about this album going plat. nobody deserves it more than tech n9ne. he's more innovative more thought provolking more honest than most if not all rappers out right now. his lyrical dexterity is light years ahead of anybody who has ever pick up a mic. and he has one of the greatest ears for talent as far as emcing goes. as fans we should be requesting his music so they are force to play it on mtv and bet and radio so tech n9ne dont have to pay hella money

how bout we all buy 3 copies. One for ourselves and distribute 2 each to non-tech hip-hop fans. If you got the dough, love tech, and want his music to spread and hit levels his career has never come close to seeing before.....i think this is a good idea.
