TECH SQUAD/STREET TEAM OFFICIALS
Okay so I went through the search and found some topics but nothing really what I was looking for with Street teams so I started this one, and besides they were kinda a mess. This is for the ADMINS/TECH SQUAD LEADERS/STREET TEAMS/MAYORS/ALL POWERFULLS/or whatever you title yourselves. I thought it might be a good idea for a place for a leadership roll call from the squads. I know how alot of yall are from the myspace TECH SQUADS, like NY, NOR CAL, Spokane, COLORADO, AZ, ETC. I've seen posts from others looking for their squads and how to get in touch with them and maybe what they have been doing, promo ideas, events attended, issues, SNIPES and such. SO this could be the place for that and for others looking for the squads of thier states. I'll start.
Idaho Tech Squad has received their promo packages for the Scoob/Strictly Strange push and are finishing up Genius/Sickology we will be out this weekend and the coming week hitting the Boise area. We have about 6 to 8 members at a time usually to hit the streets and friends of those members helping those squad memebers get the job done. I'm scheduled to promo at a lowrider show this saturday and will hav emy 64 ready to go once again. I did the Northwest motor fest boise car show over the July 4th weekend with 10,000 or so people attended the 4 days of the show of 2,000 plus cars. We were there making the Strange known for the event. We have also used the promo tiles and attached them to wood stakes for road side signs and have worked pretty well (Like the Politicains do for elections). We also have are usuals of SNIPES, stores, records stores, etc out there. We also helped with the tour that just came through for Souljah from the western part of Sickology tour as he just finished up his tour date here a couple weeks back. As admin of the Idaho Squad for the hard work of the squad I got them embriodered polo shirts with strange music on them so when they are out to the radio station etc we have a cool professional look to get us in the doors. You know all these ppl that get denied...you can still do promo you just wont get it sent right to your house. Just find out who your team leader in your area is and get ahold of them(check the posts). Thats what our job is, to take all the promo and divide it amongst everyone. So then yall can still get your shit and be able to promo. When you get denide by Britton all he is saying is that he doesnt have enough to send you a bulk package because he is already sending out enough to the surrounding areas of the state. If you really want to promo, you will promo even if you just do it on the internet, someway youll get out there and make it happen yourself instead of just waiting for Britton to email you back..
Ask StrangeRat....he got denied and just kept on trying until he found the leader of his area and know he promos and got himself hooked up with some VIP tix to the KOD show in MO.......So if you want to promo JUST GO PROMO
And anyone in the Western NE area, Scottsbluff, Cheyenne, Torrington, North Platte or any of the surrounding areas hit me up and if you want to help me out with some promo

Thanks man this is exactly what I been sayin. It not like it's a personal attack if your not on a squad or whatever. We are given the stuff (sometimes alot, sometimes a little, sometimes not at all) and we distribute it like sneak says. There are people ALL the time WANTING. I have to try and keep things organized so that what we are given goes to the MOST effective areas. It's not like it's an exclusive club or sumthin but it's work and it's a job. We're not like me and my best friends decided to do this and keep everyone out. Not at all. The guys who work for me met me at a car show when I was doing promo work with my 64. I told them I'd take a look at what connections they had and woudl be in touch. I felt they would be good to work for me and had the right motivation and mind set. We have since become good friends and Britton DOES do his job all back that up all the way. I was brought on way before Britton came to Strange and I can tell ya he is effective. So I think that this may go for me and other leadership. It's not personal if your not as "IN" as you'd like to be. We do what we can with who we can with what we are given to be MOST effective use of time and resources when it comes to print materials and such. You can always do your own like was said through word of mouth and internet. hell I know the Cleveland Squad has put in as much as 40+ hours with online promo alone. We are here for the fans yes, but it is also Business and I know for me I have alot of stores and such who take alot of what we do here for our area.

shopping today was hella crazy. Handed out mad samplers to all the shoppers. set up a booth at FYE at the mall. Imma headed back there in just a bit.
