lol, I know that feeling, it's all good dude, I agree that more insight would be nice, but I don't think it's necessary because it's a pretty common topic from him.

When I hear this part of the track I assumed it was more "Money motivated mishap, Asmodeus moniker's mended." It's 2 separate statements, not one.

 

"Mom, you made a monster, Im making minions in minutes.

 Money motivated mishap, Asmodeus monikers mended."

I took this to mean " Mom, you gave birth to a monster (evil beast, demon, whatever). Im quickly building a horde of followers, which was an accidental byproduct of my mission to make money, so now I have these followers I can assume my title of King of Demons"

Made sense to me, but thats my personal reading of the lines.

You both can go off on a tangent of debate of grammar, poetry, and the English language. It's truly indifferent to me. As I mentioned in my first post, I was expecting a wall a flaming following my remark. It's completely fine with me and I encourage it. Honestly think about the line you're trying to defend. My examples are in no way, shape, or form different than the line used in the song. I'm not claiming that it's unacceptable to use such a structure within a bar, especially when pertaining to Hip Hop. There isn't confined limits within music and an artist is free to do whatever he chooses while writing his verse. That doesn't mean I have to agree with it and I'm completely entitled to my opinion in claiming it's whack. I've stood by that original standpoint and I will continue to. My intention of the post wasn't to debate semantics and go back and forth over what is an acceptable form of poetry and what is not. If you actually took the time to read the words I was typing you'd actually see quite the opposite. I was openly stating that Tech N9ne's recent material has lacked the substance, depth, and message (how many times must I make this apparent lmao) especially while looking at the example provided in the song "E.B.A.H.". I then left it in the hands of the stans (luckily the ALPHA-STAN in Siikez was in hot pursuit of this ploy) to defend the song and negate an opinion solely on the basis that theirs differs. Congratulations you've been officially played as a hoe.

So once I finished the read I figured this guy doesn't either understand the words in that order or his poetry. I assumed (Mistake) that you just didn't understand them in that order so I helped you but then you said this.

People would more than likely stake the claim that it was complete garbage (and justly so). But when Tech N9ne throws up pointless bars that make minimal to zero sense just for the sake of rhyming and maintaining a concurrent flow of syllables beginning with the same letter then it makes it okay? - Slim Strange

 

I then knew that you didn't and apparently still don't know your poetry all that well. So I helped you again and boom where here, square one. Even with Siikez giving you a hand you where just to ugly when it comes to being wrong.

 

The moral to this post? Well im glad you asked. Let us not digress, lets maintain a straight path.

 

PS: Thats it, you don't have to go on a huge English rant. Its a acceptable line to poetry. All thats left is if the listener enjoyed what the artist said. And that form of poetry is called "alliteration".
