I don't think it's ridiculous. Doesn't seem like this is aimed at his fans, if you notice it's not really spread/posted anywhere. I think this may have just been something he made for her to use at her school.

If he was urging his fans, he would have provided links/sites/school name and the such. Seems like a father just helping out his daughter.

I don't see how it's unfair. At least at my high school only people who went there could vote... so how could all of his fans possibly vote?

Only students can vote but if one of the students father is a famous rapper chances are that student will win. And that gives any other student running almost no chance at all. But I guess its really not that big of deal but still unfair

Maybe she goes to one of those specialty schools for artsy and rich kids. Their parents could be famous too, not making this unfair... Don't take this comment seriously though. I'm just throwing it out there.
