Yeah, it's from way back, its a bad ass song, has a Prince sample on it. Tight.
yea , The original version of "Thugs Get Lonely Too" samples from "If I Was Your Girlfriend" by Prince.

In 1996, Tech N9ne recorded a verse for the song while living with QDIII, who at the time was putting in work on R U Still Down?

LDS, YOU are the DUMB FUCK!!!!!! This is a Tech N9ne website and we are simply having discussions and educating one another, if you haven't noticed.
I heard this song a couple years ago, and I knew it was from the Gang Related CD, however it is not among my favorite songs involving Tech N9ne. I was responding to Northwest Technician because he said he wanted to hear the song. I was giving him info on how he can listen to it now by going to You Tube. You wouldn't expect him to go out and get a Gang related CD, just to hear that song would ya? Then again, maybe you would.
Do you get how the whole thing work now? We here to share info, make friends, talk about experiences, and many other things. This shouldn't be a site to visit just because you get a kick out of being abusive to someone. Just because you are not physically communicating with someone doesn't mean you can now become disrespectful. I could bet some money that if you weren't hiding behind that computer, and you were face to face with us REAL Tech N9ne Fans, you wouldn't have shit to say.
We should all be courteous and friendly with one another. Since this is an underground movement and most of us share a common knowledge about what's going on outside of the mainstream industry, then we should be interacting as a "family".
Mr. "Smart"Ass, know it all, maybe you should consider not visiting this sight if people are pissn' you off that bad. NOBODY,(except for the other DUMB ASSES that like attacking people also), wants to hear your BULLSHIT comments.

And by the way, just because a person is a fan of whomever it may be, doesn't mean that you have to know ALL that there is to know about that person. I have been a BIG Tech N9ne fan long before ANY of you even knew who he was. I have been following his music since 1989-90. Now, I'm not going to try and pretend like I remember his earliest songs or even every song that he's written, every artist that he has collaborated with etc. I honestly have not liked every song that he's written or been a part of, however, that doesn't make me less of a fan. I am a BIG fan of a few mainstream artist, but I can't tell you everything that there is know about them. What I'm seeing on this site, are a lot of fans who are competing
to be "The Biggest Tech N9ne Fans", and I guess that's Ok, but you don't have to belittle folks just to prove that.
You can respond however you like, but I said all that I'm gonna to you, and to any of your ignorant friends(the ones that like criticizing and attacking folks too) that feel like they might want to defend you. PEACE!!
no,man...the only song that was in Gang Related from tech was Questions...not Thugs Get Lonely 2

Carlos you're right! I apologize for providing wrong info and being so matter a factly. The song, Thugs Get Lonely Too is what I heard on You Tube months ago, and I have also heard it several times previously. I guess because I don't care for the song I didn't pay close attention to which album it was from. I love the song Questions, then and now. I WAS aware however, that IT was on the Gang Related Soundtrack. I just got mixed up that's all. Sorry again.
