“The beats sound nothing like anything you’ve ever heard me on. The features that I’m going for are something you would never imagine. All I can say about it now is that it’s a very human album. What I mean by that is that it’s contradictory. On one song I say, ‘The saint is ours’, like we’re in the saint’s corner and then I have another song called ‘I’m Not A Saint’. It’s so beautiful because the King, the Clown, and the G are still present on this album.
There’s no apologies in what I’m saying. I don’t mind that it contradicts itself because that’s what people do. The album is everywhere. It feels like it’s Hell, Purgatory and Heaven all over again. I’m telling stories that I’ve never told – that I was afraid to tell on some songs. It’s super personal and I’ve got a big chip on my shoulder again. "Tech was literally dancing in his seat with excitement about the new album and some of the featured artists on it. He couldn’t say who they were, but he did explain that the album will be broken up into three distinct sections — Fire, Water and Earth.
Fire, Tech said, will have darker tracks, but the CD will finish with a heavenly theme in the Earth portion.
“I’ve got some heavenly ‘We Are The World’ shit on this album, swear to God,” Tech said.

I think Tech is done recording all his material for the album. Now it's just waiting for the features. A beat shouldn't take too long to find.

...I even thought there was an audio interview where he said he had an idea for PB3 and was gonna have Seven work on it. If that's true, sounds like Em won't be on that track (unless they discovered another producer used the horror sample they chose). I still bet the collab happens, but ~2 months to find a beat, write/record to it, and send it to Eminem is starting to push it.

I think you're right. The reason I put that is because Tech has always talked about how the beat tells him what to write; he doesn't write something and try to find a beat to fit his lyrics. So if he has to change beats then I'll take him at his word assume he has to create new lyrics. I wouldn't blame him if he breaks tradition and gets a beat that fits what he already has though.

Its probably a big middle finger, or a shark raping a dolphin.... those are the only two things that could possibly deter people from buying your album, based on a cover

The All 6s and 7s cover was released ~3 months before the album dropped. If that's any indication, the cover for Something Else should be released fairly soon. I know the controversial artwork is for the Deluxe Edition which may not be released right away, but the standard edition may give us some clues.

I think we got the cover when the pre order went up right? That was about 10 weeks before the album came out.

Pretty much. I just did a quick search for when A6A7 album art was posted here on the forum. The earliest date I saw was March 13 which is a little more than 12 weeks before 6/7. The equivalent date for a 6/25 release would be 3/31. With this being the most highly anticipated Strange release yet, I wouldn't be surprised by an early pre order. But you're right, maybe a little later than I was originally thinking.

I'm thinking a mid April pre order. That will hurt the sales of Rittz and Wrekonize's albums.
