“The beats sound nothing like anything you’ve ever heard me on. The features that I’m going for are something you would never imagine. All I can say about it now is that it’s a very human album. What I mean by that is that it’s contradictory. On one song I say, ‘The saint is ours’, like we’re in the saint’s corner and then I have another song called ‘I’m Not A Saint’. It’s so beautiful because the King, the Clown, and the G are still present on this album.
There’s no apologies in what I’m saying. I don’t mind that it contradicts itself because that’s what people do. The album is everywhere. It feels like it’s Hell, Purgatory and Heaven all over again. I’m telling stories that I’ve never told – that I was afraid to tell on some songs. It’s super personal and I’ve got a big chip on my shoulder again. It’s always been there, but it’s getting bigger having to prove to fans and critics that we ain’t goin’ nowhere.” -Tech N9ne from SM blog 2/8/13
"Tech was literally dancing in his seat with excitement about the new album and some of the featured artists on it. He couldn’t say who they were, but he did explain that the album will be broken up into three distinct sections — Fire, Water and Earth.
Fire, Tech said, will have darker tracks, but the CD will finish with a heavenly theme in the Earth portion.
“I’ve got some heavenly ‘We Are The World’ shit on this album, swear to God,” Tech said.
As for Water, Tech said he hasn’t quite decided, but possible themes might be partying or confusion." -DailyWIldCat.com 3/29/13

Permalink Reply by ЖĭϞϬ ƦΔϟŦԃ on August 9, 2012 at 1:55am I really don't think he's just recording an EP. His last release was an EP, then he toured forever and collected like 28 beats (he said something like that in some interview recently), he's got production from bigger names, he's looking for a buttload of features... I think it's pretty confirmed that he's working on the LP that's slated for a late October/early November release. He's been writing for a couple of weeks, so that gives him a month and a half tops to finish writing. Probably just a month. So if he starts recording while he's still writing (which I think he does because he writes all of the songs with features first in order to get the verses in time), that gives him about a month to record the album before it gets turned in for mastering and so on. So yeah. Point is, pretty sure it's an LP.

If it's an LP then no. If it's an EP then yes. I wish he would confirm what he's working on.
Cameron said:Yeah I believe so also..do you think he's done with the album or just that song?
Alex M said:I think it's his alter ego tho.
Cameron said:And the album title isn't EBAH..
Permalink Reply by Alex M on August 9, 2012 at 2:15am In 2010 he released 2 EP's. One in march and one in October. With all the big production and features he wants, I think he's going to need more time.

Permalink Reply by ЖĭϞϬ ƦΔϟŦԃ on August 9, 2012 at 3:41am Maybe an EBAH EP, but he keeps saying "EBAH" isn't the title of his "album". So I feel he's definitely working towards the LP. It is a small space of time, but I think he can pull through. The Doors track was recorded a while ago. He's confirmed guests and hopefully they're quick to get their verses in. Most of them usually are. He's had some of the beats for months, so I'm sure he has a lot of concepts down. He has two months to write and record, most likely doing so simultaneously. He started to at least write a few weeks ago. I don't know man, I feel he didn't have a lot of time for All 6's And 7's either. I'm sure they'll probably end up pushing back towards a November release date though.

Permalink Reply by Michael Bliss on August 9, 2012 at 5:26am Tech never has a long time to do his albums. After All 6's And 7's he went to work on Welcome To Strangeland and that was done in like 2 months. You have to remember that they tour big because they rely on that money, that's most of the labels income. They obviously need to drop new music so they have to work the music in around the tours.
Tech said during the tour he was picking the beats and he has an album coming out end of October. The same one he keeps referring to that people started calling EBAH. He gets the beats and concepts down during tour, maybe even pens a few bars. Decides on his feature list and as soon as tour ends after a couple of days off he starts to write. He's said this before and in one interview said that about this album. Tech works quickly, he's got a very quick turn around time and always delivers top quality music in that time. It seems like a short amount of time because compared to other artists it is, but 2 months is plenty of time if you know everything you want to say.
If I have a full day free and I already have beats and ideas then I could write 4 or maybe 5 songs in that day. That means Tech can write his album in a week. After that he records all the featured songs and sends them out. He then records the rest. If a feature can't do it then most of the Strange crew are ready to write something or Tech has backup verses ready. They get done last and mixing and mastering follows. It can easily be done in 2 months. It won't be finished now though, EBAH will probably be the lead single from the album. Remember an end of Oct release leaves just 2 months and no single yet. One will come soon, maybe another a month later then the album.
Permalink Reply by GreatScott on August 9, 2012 at 5:35am This. 100%. Tech may not be done by October, but He definitely will have something by the end of the year. He said he wrote a song per day for All 6's and 7's and thats REALLY taking his time. So I know he can do this one as well as putting out top quality music. I'm interested to see what he can do with this album.
