What I mean by that is that it’s contradictory. On one song I say, ‘The saint is ours’, like we’re in the saint’s corner and then I have another song called ‘I’m Not A Saint’. It’s so beautiful because the King, the Clown, and the G are still present on this album.
There’s no apologies in what I’m saying. I don’t mind that it contradicts itself because that’s what people do. The album is everywhere. It feels like it’s Hell, Purgatory and Heaven all over again. I’m telling stories that I’ve never told – that I was afraid to tell on some songs. It’s super personal and I’ve got a big chip on my shoulder again. "Tech was literally dancing in his seat with excitement about the new album and some of the featured artists on it. He couldn’t say who they were, but he did explain that the album will be broken up into three distinct sections — Fire, Water and Earth.
Fire, Tech said, will have darker tracks, but the CD will finish with a heavenly theme in the Earth portion.
“I’ve got some heavenly ‘We Are The World’ shit on this album, swear to God,” Tech said.

I enjoyed Recovery, but I think Em is passed his prime. I still think he's a great emcee, just not as good as he used to be. I feel most of the time he is yelling at me on his songs. And when he's not yelling into the mic, he's trying to jam too many words into his bars. His punchlines and metaphors are much better than his old stuff (considering there wasn't a lot of them then), but when he's rapping/yelling so quickly it makes it difficult to absorb what he's saying.

I honestly didn't care much for Recovery only because all my friends over played it and rode Em's nuts so hard that my nuts were cringing for him. I can no longer stand 1.) Love the way you Lie 2.) Talkin' 2 Myself 3.) No Love 4.) Space Bound 5.) Cinderella Man.
The Eminem Show was my favorite album.

I was wondering why he'd only put a 6 sec clip, seems kinda pointless. Unless there's a horror song that starts out like that and he's hinting at PB3? I don't really watch horror movies so I wouldn't know. I do like strings in beats though, they usually make songs sound darker and more epic

I like the fact that Tech, Seven, and MAYDAY are all working together in the same studio. Instead of seven makes beat, sends it to mayday for strings, then sends it to tech to see if he likes it. I like the idea of all of them giving input on every part of production.
