“The beats sound nothing like anything you’ve ever heard me on. The features that I’m going for are something you would never imagine. All I can say about it now is that it’s a very human album. What I mean by that is that it’s contradictory. On one song I say, ‘The saint is ours’, like we’re in the saint’s corner and then I have another song called ‘I’m Not A Saint’. It’s so beautiful because the King, the Clown, and the G are still present on this album.
There’s no apologies in what I’m saying. I don’t mind that it contradicts itself because that’s what people do. The album is everywhere. It feels like it’s Hell, Purgatory and Heaven all over again. I’m telling stories that I’ve never told – that I was afraid to tell on some songs. It’s super personal and I’ve got a big chip on my shoulder again. It’s always been there, but it’s getting bigger having to prove to fans and critics that we ain’t goin’ nowhere.” -Tech N9ne from SM blog 2/8/13
"Tech was literally dancing in his seat with excitement about the new album and some of the featured artists on it. He couldn’t say who they were, but he did explain that the album will be broken up into three distinct sections — Fire, Water and Earth.
Fire, Tech said, will have darker tracks, but the CD will finish with a heavenly theme in the Earth portion.
“I’ve got some heavenly ‘We Are The World’ shit on this album, swear to God,” Tech said.
As for Water, Tech said he hasn’t quite decided, but possible themes might be partying or confusion." -DailyWIldCat.com 3/29/13

Too many damn features imo
Permalink Reply by Chief on February 8, 2013 at 6:06pm For real man. There's enough features to do a 40 track album. Is this a Tech N9ne album or a Tech N9ne collabo album?

Permalink Reply by Alex M on February 8, 2013 at 7:14pm This is my opinion. Since it's a track dedicated to their best market since Strange Music has been around, I think "Colorado" should only have the Strange artists that have been around since day one. Kutt, Krizz and Scoob.

Permalink Reply by Chief on February 8, 2013 at 8:45pm I'm not opposed to featured artists. Its just always nice to have Solo work from Tech. Isn't that why he created the Collabo series? So we could get the best of both worlds?
I think that on his Solo Albums with the exception of Krizz i think strange artists shouldn't be featured. He should save them for the Collabo Albums. Thats just me though. I'm not complaining at all though. For this Album i would like to see at least 5 solo tracks.
Side note: Whats the point of having featured artists on a Skit? Seems like a waist of the featured artists time. Better yet why even make Skits? nothing bothers me more than when I'm cruising down the road and a skit comes on (specifically that KC Poet Skit that one bugs me the most the bitch sounds disgusting.)

Permalink Reply by Alex M on February 8, 2013 at 9:22pm Kevin Hart isn't really a skit. I think it's more of an introduction like how Brooklyn Martino is on TGMP. I don't think it will be more than 10-15 seconds. Skits are good for when you are lounging around listening to the album front to back. It gives a break from the music. I feel you when it comes to not liking skits when cruising around. I can't stand the lady at the end of Klusterfuk.

Permalink Reply by Jake Garrity on February 8, 2013 at 9:58pm Couldn't agree more about the Strange artists on his albums, at least if hes gonna have features I prefer it to be people we don't typically hear him with. We hear enough of strange artists with tech as he's featured on every strange release.
