“The beats sound nothing like anything you’ve ever heard me on. The features that I’m going for are something you would never imagine. All I can say about it now is that it’s a very human album. What I mean by that is that it’s contradictory. On one song I say, ‘The saint is ours’, like we’re in the saint’s corner and then I have another song called ‘I’m Not A Saint’. It’s so beautiful because the King, the Clown, and the G are still present on this album.

There’s no apologies in what I’m saying. I don’t mind that it contradicts itself because that’s what people do.  The album is everywhere. It feels like it’s Hell, Purgatory and Heaven all over again. I’m telling stories that I’ve never told – that I was afraid to tell on some songs. It’s super personal and I’ve got a big chip on my shoulder again. It’s always been there, but it’s getting bigger having to prove to fans and critics that we ain’t goin’ nowhere.” -Tech N9ne from SM blog 2/8/13

"Tech was literally dancing in his seat with excitement about the new album and some of the featured artists on it. He couldn’t say who they were, but he did explain that the album will be broken up into three distinct sections — Fire, Water and Earth.

Fire, Tech said, will have darker tracks, but the CD will finish with a heavenly theme in the Earth portion.

“I’ve got some heavenly ‘We Are The World’ shit on this album, swear to God,” Tech said.

As for Water, Tech said he hasn’t quite decided, but possible themes might be partying or confusion." -DailyWIldCat.com 3/29/13

tech doesnt need to say fuck i need 10 grand real quick because the man is worth millions

Chief said:

Yeah, but chances are he still gotta pay a pretty penny to have somebody put all the Music together and finalize it maybe its cheaper then 90-100 now with his own studio i wouldn't be surprised if it ran him about 50 bucks an hour to have somebody man his studio but now he's going to be paying rent and if he hasn't already paid off all the equipment hes got that too. Not like he couldn't afford it. Lol if tech n9ne was ever like "fuck i need like 10 grand real quick" all he would have to do is drop an EP done deal!  Its funny to think that he produces words that can bring him in bucks.

Strange has their own studio now though, right?

I disagree that it's a bad business move, Klusterfuk sold like what first week? i don't remember but wasnt it like 12,000-16,000? with barely anything spent on promotion? I think that makes a lot of business sense. if u can sell that much 'n barely have to spend a dollar to get that return. Idk what the studio time costs but I'm sure Tech at least can make all that money back

Michael Bliss said:

That makes sense but at the same time makes none.

I mean my logic still says album for several reasons. We've been told about an album coming October, yet heard NOTHING on an EP in October. Who's to say it's not a mixtape, why EP or album??

Also sorry to do this but Alex saying Tech dropped 2 EP's back to back are wrong. It went Lost Scripts EP, Gates Mixed Plate LP, Seepage EP in 2010. 2 EP's back to back is fucking pointless, he may as well have saved the Klusterfuk tracks, put them with the "new EP's" tracks and done a few more and we would have had an LP release instead. It's a pointless business move that wastes more money than it makes.

The fact Tech did A6A7 and then 5 months later came WTS, however he only started work on WTS in August so it took 3 months. Tech CAN do an album in the time given to him.

He said in all his interviews that his next album is coming out in late October but I think it will be pushed to 2013 and we will get this before late October.

Teccanina4life said:

so is this EP going to be the one coming out in late october.. or is that his LP?

Well no shit Bill Nye the Science Guy....but he still could

Depends on how many songs he recorded, Couldnt tell you unless I knew. But I know the rates at Chapman for his engineer.
Alex M said:

How much time do you think he spent in there for this EP? 20 Hours? 2,000 dollars.

I was thinking the other day, didn't Tech mention he was playing with the idea of a sequel to "The Noose". That could make the album, if of course he's working on it. Don't remember where I saw it. So it's completely rumored.

Slipknot is NOT confirmed. Rumored and they want to do something together but it is not 100% they are starting anything anytime soon

**better change that release date from October 30, to TBA.

Alright smart guy. Lol He's recording the EP at Chapman. And probably the album. I doubt they will begin recording at the new studio until next year.
