“The beats sound nothing like anything you’ve ever heard me on. The features that I’m going for are something you would never imagine. All I can say about it now is that it’s a very human album. What I mean by that is that it’s contradictory. On one song I say, ‘The saint is ours’, like we’re in the saint’s corner and then I have another song called ‘I’m Not A Saint’. It’s so beautiful because the King, the Clown, and the G are still present on this album.
There’s no apologies in what I’m saying. I don’t mind that it contradicts itself because that’s what people do. The album is everywhere. It feels like it’s Hell, Purgatory and Heaven all over again. I’m telling stories that I’ve never told – that I was afraid to tell on some songs. It’s super personal and I’ve got a big chip on my shoulder again. "Tech was literally dancing in his seat with excitement about the new album and some of the featured artists on it. He couldn’t say who they were, but he did explain that the album will be broken up into three distinct sections — Fire, Water and Earth.
Fire, Tech said, will have darker tracks, but the CD will finish with a heavenly theme in the Earth portion.
“I’ve got some heavenly ‘We Are The World’ shit on this album, swear to God,” Tech said.

Didn't have a chance to listen to the podcast but a Strange Hotel, if it ended up being like Alex said, would be great. For a fan like me from the UK if there was a Strange Hotel in KC I could fly out, end up staying in a hotel with loads of other Strange Music fans meeting new people who have the same music interest as me, I would get to see Tech perform in his hometown (energy has to be better at KC shows surely!) and I would get to be on holiday in the USA while helping out my favourite music label by staying in their hotel. It is a good idea from my point of view.
Back on topic: Wale as much as I like the dude I just don't know how he would fit with Tech on a track. Tech should mix it a little and get ILLmacuLate on a track, he can spit some real hard rhymes when he wants.
