“The beats sound nothing like anything you’ve ever heard me on. The features that I’m going for are something you would never imagine. All I can say about it now is that it’s a very human album. What I mean by that is that it’s contradictory. On one song I say, ‘The saint is ours’, like we’re in the saint’s corner and then I have another song called ‘I’m Not A Saint’. It’s so beautiful because the King, the Clown, and the G are still present on this album.
There’s no apologies in what I’m saying. I don’t mind that it contradicts itself because that’s what people do. The album is everywhere. It feels like it’s Hell, Purgatory and Heaven all over again. I’m telling stories that I’ve never told – that I was afraid to tell on some songs. It’s super personal and I’ve got a big chip on my shoulder again. It’s always been there, but it’s getting bigger having to prove to fans and critics that we ain’t goin’ nowhere.” -Tech N9ne from SM blog 2/8/13
"Tech was literally dancing in his seat with excitement about the new album and some of the featured artists on it. He couldn’t say who they were, but he did explain that the album will be broken up into three distinct sections — Fire, Water and Earth.
Fire, Tech said, will have darker tracks, but the CD will finish with a heavenly theme in the Earth portion.
“I’ve got some heavenly ‘We Are The World’ shit on this album, swear to God,” Tech said.
As for Water, Tech said he hasn’t quite decided, but possible themes might be partying or confusion." -DailyWIldCat.com 3/29/13

Permalink Reply by Jake Beighey on July 26, 2012 at 5:54pm If they put out an album every month they wont get much in sales. They do it the way they do on purpose, they want to give the album or EP time to "Breathe" . I'd love it if we got albums quicker also, but then i think the quality would go down 'cause they're just trying to put something out. You can't put talent on an assembly line.

This...The faster the music is released the less quality time was spent on the music....Well i guess that's not entirely true. But I could see things getting sloppy if they all had Deadlines 30 days apart and on top of that still did features and what not.. not to mention I'm sure Arron Yates likes his days off from work just as much as you do and he pretty features on everybody's albums
Cameron said:Yeah we don't know when the next one is but Ces Cru's 13 EP is coming soon, Stevie Stone is doing an EP, Krizz Kaliko is doing an EP, Trav wants to try to get Big Scoob to put an EP out, I think Kutty has an EP coming out too so that's a good bunch of music. Also we just had Klusterfuk, TMTYL, Paranormal, K&S, and Rollin Stone all about a month apart besides Klusterfuk and TMTYL so we have had a good amount of releases this year. Plus we have Mannibalector, Tech's new LP maybe coming out this year I don't know yet. All I know is I'm not complaining. Look at all the other labels. Artists put out new music one time every 2 years about so I think we're pretty lucky
Smoke said:Well I know not specifically for me but I meant something like that because it feels like forever for me. The closest release is in 2 weeks and then what's the date for the next release?
Cameron said:They're already puttiing out so much music for us. And if you want Krizz Kaliko one month and Kutt the month after it's unlikely that they're going to release an album when you want one. I think they'll still do the same thing they're doing now. They've been putting out music constant in 2012
Smoke said:Maybe I want a krizz kaliko album out one month and kutt a month after they'll be able to do stuff like that with more booths...... So they can do more stuff and keep us entertained
Cameron said:How do you figure that the albums they're putting out are taking so long? They put out albums quick and you want them to put them out faster?
Smoke said:with the new strangeland studios they'll be able to record more than one album soon. So albums won't take so damn long to come out one after another thank god.
Permalink Reply by Chief on July 26, 2012 at 6:00pm I saw on this thread back on page like 5 or 6 that someone had said "The Track featuring The Doors is called Strange Days" so I'm guessing thats it.
Smoke said:
Can't find it, I'm assuming it's the one FT The Doors?
Alex M said:A while ago. Check the thread.
Smoke said:Wait when was strange days confirmed again?

Permalink Reply by Brent Bertrand on July 26, 2012 at 6:08pm My favorite artist writing a verse for my favorite rock band!? Fucking yes. Hope its for Lost In The Echo. First Deftones, now LP! Never thought Tech and LP would hook up because Tech's never said anything about working with them.
Permalink Reply by Alex M on July 26, 2012 at 6:10pm Yea, it's the one with The Doors

Permalink Reply by ЖĭϞϬ ƦΔϟŦԃ on July 26, 2012 at 9:53pm I feel none of the three mentioned songs are actually confirmed. Tech has mentioned wanting to do WWC2 and Psycho Bitch 3, just like he mentioned wanting to do the video for WWC. He also said that the track with the Doors will only be on the album if Jim Morrison's wife allows it.
