“The beats sound nothing like anything you’ve ever heard me on. The features that I’m going for are something you would never imagine. All I can say about it now is that it’s a very human album. What I mean by that is that it’s contradictory. On one song I say, ‘The saint is ours’, like we’re in the saint’s corner and then I have another song called ‘I’m Not A Saint’. It’s so beautiful because the King, the Clown, and the G are still present on this album.

There’s no apologies in what I’m saying. I don’t mind that it contradicts itself because that’s what people do.  The album is everywhere. It feels like it’s Hell, Purgatory and Heaven all over again. I’m telling stories that I’ve never told – that I was afraid to tell on some songs. It’s super personal and I’ve got a big chip on my shoulder again. It’s always been there, but it’s getting bigger having to prove to fans and critics that we ain’t goin’ nowhere.” -Tech N9ne from SM blog 2/8/13

I just think that Tech's always wanted to gain full respect in the entire rap game even mainstream wise but was never confident in attempting that. But now that Lil Wayne has opened a lot of doors for him hes confident in looking to reach out to rappers like Jay-Z/Kanye West. Obviously he wants to change the way people see him so he can be as big as he feels/deserves to be. He's tired of people who ignore/sleep on him and is hoping to change that forever.

Where did you find out that he wants Em on psycho bitch 3?

Alex M said:

Sounds like he wants Eminem on a Psycho Bitch 3. He wants to work with Jay- Z, Kanye, Adele, Nelly, Rick Ross, and everybody and their mother.

Talked to Tech at the VIP session in Tucson, AZ a couple days ago. He mentioned that he is seven songs into his new LP.

bizzy bone will do a feature with anyone willing to shell out the $2500 bucks thats how much he charges!!!  and Eminem has worked with outside mainstream rappers Trick Trick is not a mainstream artists!!!

Nas/DMX/Mystikal already confirmed that they'd do it and Tech said he had beats for them ready so I can see that happening since Tech says he has to also see them on the beat and considering he still has the unused beats he'll do that. Other than that, I have a feeling that most mainstream rappers don't have much bureaucratic power. So even if Tech is willing to pay a rapper for a verse he'd have to pick people who have the most control over there own career. So probably Jay-Z/Kanye and even Eminem could do it since Jay-Z and Eminem have there own labels and Kayne for example is currently like Jay-Z's right hand man so he could most likely do it too.

The problem however, is that Tech said he wanted Jay-Z and Kanye for Kabosh and Eminem has never done a feature for any rapper that wasn't mainstream and in my opinion was just being nice when he said he'd make a song with Tech, so none of those would be in my opinion likely features for his next LP. What he could do though I doubt it, would be to feature the confirmed artists that didn't make it to all 6's and 7's and other big name rappers he's already featured such as Twista,Busta Rhymes,Kendrick Lamar, B.O.B, E-40. Then what he can do is add in features from his best strange music artists like Mayday,Brotha Lynch Hung, Ces cru, Jay Rock, Stevie Stone. Mix that together with his regular Krizz Kaliko and Kutt Calhoun features and he could have a really, really good album that could then top all 6's and 7's.

Again though another problem I see is that not only would Tech have to see Twista and Busta on a track let alone any one else he might feature, everything for that reason is still up in the air. In my opinion if Tech wasn't so picky or just tried harder to buy more beats he'd then have more to work with and more he saw fitting for the right features. The thing is that Tech doesn't put enough care into the production as he could.

If Tech tried just a little harder he could do obviously a lot more, but I doubt it. Most of Techs issues has always been because of his lack of musical effort. Tech's ability to make better songs and have better features has always mostly been because he's doesn't obviously like to spend a lot of money on beats.

I mean look at it this way, If some unknown dude like Crucified can get a Bizzy Bone feature " http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRJ7NY_-UBw ". Then someone like Tech can easily get a lot of features like we've never thought possible.. It's just that Tech doesn't want to pay for a feature that he doesn't feel needs to be paid for and so he wants to be shown love by them and have those rappers reach out to him instead.

So in my opinion, I bet the next album is going to be a lot like a mix between All 6's and 7's/Welcome to Strangeland/Klusterfuk. I'm just not sure how that would turn out because his best effort was when he tried his best to get good beats and had only a few features like he did on Everready. I just think with how he's always trying to make everything sound like something you've never heard before that he's not likely to feature the same rapper again for another LP and isn't going to try harder to make a balance between what sounds new and what sounds good.

So in the end I bet his next album is probably going to have a few more tracks than usual that people will end up skipping. I also bet that just like with K.O.D and All 6's and 7's he's going to end up having songs that didn't make it to the album that are actually better than other songs on the actual album that seemed more like filler in comparison to for example the lost-scripts/bonus tracks.

I don't know, I just think Tech needs to spend more time and money on an album for once...

Eminem, Chamillionaire, Rittz i could see as features on the new LP esp since tech posted that studio list with a song confirmed for Chamillionaire and he's on Kicking and Screaming expect him on the next album along with DMX and Mystikal and possibly Trae Da Truth!

Where'd you get all this info sir?

I dont understand everyones obsession with rittz hes nothin special

Ok wow i'm always surprised when i see someone complaining about how lazy Tech is, yet look at almost every other artits out side of Strange music. What do you see? A bunch of music videos, a cd with two or 3 hot singles designed for radio play that get anoying after the 50th time being palyed and the rest of the cd is perfect for the next button on my cd player. Appearances from all the same artits on their work, and an attitude that thanks god before the people that put money in their pockets and adore them for words they spit.

Lets look at strange, two or three different artits drop a cd and a few ep's are realesed every year, usually a dvd every two years or so.. ( would love to see one for the hostile takeover)  not to mention 90 shows in 99 days, while other tours from other artits on the lable are happening somewhere else, plus the fact that he's bringing in new "talent" like Ces and mayday oh oh , and he makes real music ha.... ok im starting to get frustrated ima tell em like this, for those that think tech is lazy, pull your head out of your ass and actually look at what he's done.

As for other artists working with Tech, eminem missed his chance on 6's & 7's he was supposed to work on "So lonely"  but couldn't get his verse done in time. Em's people wanted another month or some shit and Tech was schedualed to do final recordings in a week so why should Tech bend over backwards for someone that doesn't do music with non mainstream artits, i agree i would love to hear a track with those two on it, but i'll be fucked before i say tech needs Em on a track... Techs career will do just fine without all the old " GOOD " rappers on his shit.  As for Crucified and bizzy... when was the last time your heard from bone thugs... they dropped off, tech could get a song with them at anytime simply because it would help bone thugs out, the problem is thats taking a step backwards.

By the way OP-8 when did your album drop seems like you know alot about how artits should put there music together.. are you an artits or just someone with not enough fact and to much to say. Not sure if you've really caught on to everything... the reason they drop ep like the lost scripts and klusterfuk is so the fans that really love his music get a taste inbetween the big cd drops, personally i hate waiting a year for more music so yes Tech leave a couple of tracks off your albumand give them to me later, i'm cool with that. As for you Op keep your narrow minded opinions to yourself when your dealing with real Tech fans.
